    SSD prices have come a long way down. When I built my first "modern" gaming PC 5 years ago, I bought a Samsung 840 128GB (which I'm still using today), and it was $98 at the time, I believe. Now, you can get a good performing 120GB SSD for $40 or less, brand new.

    @MEC-777 Bought a 240GB SandDisk for $75 a few years ago and that was cheap (Black Friday purchase), the Samsung Evo's were around $120-130 if I remember right ... for 240GB !!!

     

    I happen to have a $50 CanadaComputer gift card and while I don't need a new SDD, I'm still tempted! :P

    Yeah, I know now, going forward, any new build I do for personal use will be SSD only. Nice that prices have reached the point where going all SSDs won't destroy your bank account anymore. :P Even M.2's are cheap now.
