    Cherry MX Clear

MORE stiff than blues. definitely more
  2. well, if we agree on nothing else. we can agree on this
  3. the measurement is simple. what is the increase in one's heartrate from a minimally active standing state over the course of a golf game extraneous of excitement and exposure to the elements? how long are the spikes sustained? it's no higher than someone shopping in the mall. that is WHY golf is recommended. it does NOT cause a spike in heart rate, requires the minimal amount of physical(walking), is entertaining, and transportation is simple in case of injury from slipping (relative to being stuck halfway up a mountain). you seem to think that calling something a game is demeaning. not sure why to be honest. you also seem to think that carrying a keyboard counts as 'requires strength' and 'going to the gym will make it easier for me to carry a keyboard to the desk so i can do better in the game'. again. not sure why. i've actually played golf albeit nowhere near professional grade or i'd be on tv making big bucks. personally is more boring than fishing, but if you oike it, no reason to stop because it's not rigorous activity that causes long term damage to joints.

    Cherry MX Clear

explains the demand for code boards w/ clears and poker 2 with clears.
  5. i'm not sure i've ever seen any 'pushing'. it's just that alot of people that haven't even used win8 make alot of weird incorrect statements about it for some sort of weird supremist-like reason. such as 'i have to use the start screen in win8'
  6. start8. there's other free options if you insist.
  7. people hate it on PRINCIPLE. there's actually nothing technically bad with win8 at all that you can't undo. why people do this? i don't know. it's pretty much become scientology 2 at this point.
  8. all walking is done over the course of several hours (unless you play golf REALLY fast?). you don't need good lungs to do that; just working hips and knee joints. maybe we watch different golf professionals? I've never seen them actually carry their own clubs. also, i always seen them in golf carts. a half round of golf (w/e the term for 9 holes is) is commonly recommended for seniors that need physical activity during recovery from heart attacks. I'm not sure that counts as high aerobic performance and golf sure ain't an anaerobic activity. basically, golf and heart rate increase only occurs under a few circumstances: 1. you don't handle sunlight/heat very well and you end up sweating cause of it 2. you're already physically unfit and normal walking already causes a noticable increase in heart rate 3. you're playing by yourself and trying to complete a round as fast as possible (this means you're RUNNING as you take a swing and then you're chasing the ball as it's still flying; aka, you're happy gilmore). 4. you've been poisoned look at it another way: no phase of golf requires speed, just skill. that's why golf is a game.

    Cherry MX Clear

really now..... maybe it's actually because Cherry corp has a limited number of production lines and switch types get rotated out for awhile before they're given a new line so they can continue production?
  10. that's because they're stupid. just because monkey see, doesn't mean monkey should do. calling esports a sport is just a way of 'fighting back' against common convention(at the expense of logic unfortunately) and to validate one's time spent playing games. a sport has at least 2 of the following 3 points: requires good cardio (heart and lung performance) requires skill requires strength (growing more muscle mass improves your performance) esports only has skill. so does golf. so does poker. that's why they're not sports. all 3 of those can be made competitive very easily. that's why they are games. all sports are games, but not all games are sports.
  11. paying extra for better image quality is really silly for reading text. save your money and don't bother paying extra for precalibrated monitor. absolutely DO NOT buy a gtx780 for running multiple monitors. buy it because you want better looking games. that's an absurd waste of money. even c2d iGPUs can run dual monitors. there is no such thing as 'port quality' as this resolution and setup. get hdmi OR displayport if you want audio to your monitor (w/e combination saves you money on a new GPU/cables). that's the only feature consideration unless the size of the connector matters to you.
  12. mx performance mouse. the premier office work mouse
  13. you don't need to be a professional. you just must have used an ips panel before. there is a HUGE difference when you switch back
  14. you literally can't buy a modern x86-64 chip that has trouble running the os and browser. it's been this way for years now. even the worst smartphone can do video playback no problem and that is many factors more difficult than running a browser which is many magnitudes harder than an os.
  15. is that even a photo? looks like a really low quality render to me. how are they different than the stock corsair caps?
  16. i'm going to bet you're thinking about the old MDN pages. the new ones feature a table showing browser support near the bottom and usually include a polyfill somewhere on the page if possible. as well, other community resources such as 'caniuse' and 'html5please' are REALLY great at quickly giving you an answer on a feature as well as recommending polyfills.
  17. just read the manual. there should be a 'how to change input' section there.
  18. did you set the monitor to receive from the displayport input? assuming it has more than one input

    Noctua sell out

the thing with OG noctua colors is....if you vomit on them, it'll blend in better than a regular black fan. if that is not function over form, i don't know what is. i can't believe i have to say 'OG'(original) now
  20. what does flash player have to do with anything? also, if you're going to claim that a defective DRM module is an issue, can you go into more detail about what exactly could happen and how? for instance, do you think that it will cause your computer to explode?
  21. http://gal.steinitz.com/blog/2013/07/21/why-w3schools-is-bad-for-the-internet/ one of many articles explaining why w3schools is a BAD adding further, w3schools is basically a grocery store. does a grocery store care about your nutrition? hell no. they care about having tasty products that make you keep coming back. do they care about giving you the best prices? hell no, their sole reason for existence is to get your money at your expense. what does this mean in terms of technology? w3schools RARELY has links outside of its website because it doesn't benefit from other sites getting traffic. this crucially cuts you off from hundreds (thousands?) of bloggers who have practical experience and can provide you with multiple teaching styles so you have the freedom to pick which one works best for you. MDN is effectively a moderated public wiki. if something is wrong or too new to be included, you're not stuck with outdated information because there are many, many other devs who are on the case and got your back. this isn't wikipedia where you have page vandalism either. technical data is held to the highest standard (the truth).
  22. I'm not sure you have enough software understanding to understand what these articles are telling you. I'm not sure why you think a bug in DRM would cause security issues. A DRM module bug would mean that you're able to watch a movie when DRM says you're not allowed to. Myself and I'm assuming the colonel would be willing to help clarify other issues, but we're not wrong about what we've said so far. My point that this is a change for the better, but that is too slow for many people, still stands. Eme is a good thing, because you're basically ONLY using the DRM portion of the flash plugin and not the other parts that cause show performance and provide attack surface for exploits.
  23. Oliver, you're supposed to marl the actual post as the correct answer. Not yourself
  24. it's actually adobe's closed source code. also, it's open-source. compile it yourself. why advocate for open-source if you're not going to use any of the aspects of open-source? the truth of the matter is: DRM is still closed-source, EXCEPT, we've now invested into proper sandboxing of the plugin. AKA, we're making progress. maybe it's not as fast as everybody likes, but it IS moving forward.
