I started drinking at 14, now 23, don't regret a single time. I've had a great, fulfilled life and it is in part thanks to some amazing times I've shared with alcohol. My happiest memories are at parties or in the park or in night clubs, imo underage drinking was the best decision I made.

You assume everyone is lucky, they are not and statistics for underage drinking bear that out as did my own life experience. There are too many deaths, too many lives started and ended on the wrong path. You will never know what your full potential was mentally as you would not notice your damage, you simply would not be as nimble, how much or even if there is damage is a roulette game. I can tell you bad decisions often lead to many more. i can tell you lots but until you decide to educate yourself it wouldn't help. People rarely listen and even less often bother to learn for themselves.

One last thing to ALL OF YOU PEOPLE advocating underage drinking. If the op or any child at that party drinks and is harmed mentally or physically or for that matter any child who ever reads your posts and is encouraged to drink, their blood is on your hands.

Yep, definitely triggered. Only abusive drinking behavior can lead to death. Unless the "kid" starts chugging a bottle of wodka, I don't see the problem.

Obviously you didn't read the article or you would be educated enough to know it isn't abuse, the mere presence of alcohol in the blood stream supplying the brain is enough and again, it is a CRIME! you have asked a child to commit a crime which shows you to be not so smart. i only pointed it out. your stubborn resistance to danger and truth show you to be either a child or the worlds most worthless adult, i am giving you the benefit of the doubt by calling you a child, perhaps you are an adult with a child like attitude.

Any responsible adult would never encourage underage drinking knowing the risks involved. to do so shows a lack of morality and concern for welfare.

If the kid goes that is his choice but as an adult i made him aware of the dangers involved. If you are an adult and are doing the opposite you deserve much worse than the scorn i could heap on you. In fact that could also be considered contributing to the delinquency of a minor which is also a crime. encouraging a crime is a crime buddy.

No, there is not a "scientific reason" for not being allowed to drink under 21. We're allowed to drink when we're 16, yet our average life expectancy is higher than in the US? Not to mention nobody gives a fuck if you drink a beer here when you're younger than 16.

All of you should stop acting like underage drinking leads to heroin or cocaine, lmao.

your brain is not finished developing until you hit 20-22. alcohol is shown to inhibit development. you stating otherwise shows you have a bit of impairment yourself. Just 1 night of drinking can cause irreversible brain damage. in other words you may not ever develop to your potential because of 1 stupid decision.

    http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=122765890 .

that article will start you out if you are actually smart enough to read it. a google search will lead you to tons of mayo clinic research as well as 1000s more. and it isn't just the damage you do to yourself physically kid.

Many teen drinking episodes lead to death in many ways, or a life of shit

  4. You people encouraging under age drinking are breaking the law and asking for tragedy. How many kids have to pay the price for stupidity? There are good scientific reasons drinking under 21 is not legal. There are also good common sense reasons. Any person who says committing a crime is ok is a POS who will likely get your arse in trouble. any person encouraging children into acts that lead to tragedy is a POS.

Im 16 - nearly 17, and have never drunken alcohol before. There is a massive party coming up soon, and im invited, should i go or not? I know my friends are gonna make me drink, but i have this fear of damaging my body.

    You should ,

A- make up a cool excuse for not going,

B- Learn to be secure in who you are so you do not allow anyone to pressure you into anything at anytime

only the weak future losers ever allow others to control their actions or blame their choices on others. grow a spine and say no

C- realize that at your age socializing is important but if you use your head you will be able to play off any situation and look cool without being a big D, and not put yourself in a situation you are not able to handle.

Z- you are not ready to drink. your body is not developed, and you are not mature enough mentally, no offense but that is everyone at your age PLUS you are afraid of being pressured. you may get away with it or you may not. if you do then you are getting away with something you know is not good for you. if you don't welcome to hell

Just don't fall for the college scam in the first place so you don't have to drop out.

Try and find a real, high paying, long term, meaningful job that doesn't require a degree. They are few and far between.

Tell me why i should hire you Mr. Jones

Umm well i know employers in this field usually require a degree but i didn't feel like getting one soooo, i am really cute, and i have nice ears.

  7. I am an AMD shill paid by AMD to disagree with intel people! NOT

The 7700k if you are a pro gamer gaming with a 1080 ti or higher gpu gaming at 144 or 280hz, at 1080p.  other than that you are losing out as you will not freshly install windows or turn off background apps. the ryzen 1600 or 1700 have so much more cpu to give that you can have open programs and background programs without losing gaming performance.

  8. i custom build shelves in my home. cheap wood a few screws and some nice wood stain make wonderful storage options. another easy storage solution for small spaces is 2 bearing slides for desk drawers and a mirror. (INSIDE WALL ONLY) cut out sheetrock between 2 studs screw slides above and below. attach other half to back of mirror and you have instant space to build shallow shelves that takes no floor space

get creative man. there is always a way, just takes elbow grease and the CPU in your skull

I need to rent a U-Haul and move some furniture. I plan on picking up two young men from the local Home Depot and paying them to do the physical labor. I was thinking 2 men, $10/hr each, and I'll get some pizza hut or something for lunch (for all of us). Any tips or advice? I've never done this before.

So i have no experience picking up men, but as a man who would like from time to time to be picked up i can say you need not offer me any money whatsoever. OK OK, i know, my sense of humor sucks. whatever.

**Use older kids from the neighborhood unless you know some out of work men specifically as most guys at HD are busy and do not want your 1day job in my area at least

  10. So My favorite might be Luke but Yvonne Ho would be a close second and the new hot af Maxine (i think that's her name) is a rising star imho, followed by Terrance then Linus and Nick Light are tied followed by everyone else. It is also my opinion that at certain times i really have no favorite character as much like the i7 vs R7 1700 each has their own special assets that shine in the right light. The LMG group seems to be a very strong bunch of highly skilled people with talent oozing from their pores.

  11. Chicken choking is serious business. Back on the farm i grew up on we used to choke chickens all the time. Grab em by the neck, give em a fast pop up and down and then a fast twist and the heads would pop off. Then the chicken runs round for a few minutes. Do you really want a headless chicken?

  12. I have had a mustache and goatee since i was 16. When i was working as an Lead Electrician, a company i was working for at a very high rate of pay for about 2 years changed their policy on beards. They demanded we all be clean shaven every day, I told them to fire me. Every day for months supervisors higher up than me warned me i would be fired, every day i told them to fill out the papers, i was more than willing to be fired. That's how i feel about my beard.

  13. will you be gaming at 1080p, 1440, or 4k? for streaming ryzen is better by leaps and bounds, for gaming ryzen provides a smoother gaming experience. Ryzen loses on average anywhere from 2-10 fps on max frames but is closer on averages and better on minimums at 1080p gaming. at 1440p and 4k gaming they are pretty much identical. Ryzen offers much more overhead therfpre if you run background programs while gaming offers a better gaming solution imo. Ryzen destroys the 7700k in productivity. Both CPU's are great and you will enjoy either. for your needs a 1700 or 1600 is ideal imo but a 7700k will win in top frames like i said. but when you are talking hundreds of frames how many do you need? your monitor will limit how many frames are displayed so if gaming at 1080p 60hz you will see no difference save smoothness, if you are 1080p gaming at 144hz and must have every frame possible and do nothing but game the 7700k is your chip.

I tell someone that my neck hurts, but out of nowhere, they start ranting about how bad their pain was in the past, making my pain seem insignificant.

    Other times, it's like this:

    Me: "I'm a bit full. I don't think I can finish this."

My mom: "Think of the kids in Africa who'd die to get this kind of food. Ungrateful."

Me: "Wh-What? Then how am I supposed t-"

What are your opinions on situations like these?

You asked me my opinion so i'll give it.

Listen to your elders and learn from them!

    Eat your vegetables!

Mostly when people describe pain they are trying to identify with your pain by remembering their own. Also, we are all human and use certain opportunities to try and get some attention from people we care about even as we should be giving them attention.

As for "Africa kids" We love you and want you to understand that as bad as you think "it" is or how bad you have it, you live like a king and there are far worse situations you could be in. Also we are human and crave acknowledgment from our kids that we are doing an awesome job and you love and respect us. Try thanking your parents every chance you get for certain things they do and IN TIME, after the shock wears off, and we are sure you have not been replaced by pod people, you will be surprised how much more we will treat you as equals...to a point.

Now thank God for your parents.
