  1. Don't think a keyboard will make you better at games because it won't. Of the 4 you've listed I'd buy the Ducky, very reputable with good build quality for the price. I'd also consider an Anne Pro. Similar quality at a cheaper price with better switches.
  2. Both are very solid mice and the choice pretty much boils down to whichever one will feel more comfortable for you to use. The holes bothering you is likely to be a subjective thing, the holes on my Glorious Model O don't bother me at all. RocketJumpNinja is a mouse fanatic and he has made a guide on how to pick the right mouse.
  3. I own an Anne Pro 2 with Box Whites and I really like it. I've also compared it to my friends Ducky One 2 mini with browns and I'd honestly say they're pretty comparable. His Ducky has a slightly better build and finish than my Anne Pro but I can't really say if it's worth the price difference, especially when the Anne Pro comes with Kailh Boxes and supports Bluetooth.
  4. Majority of people prefer brown style switches so if you can't decide, browns are likely to be the better choice. If you're really invested in RGB, Corsair or Razer are the industry leaders in terms of customisability though the value for money is pretty poor. If you want better quality a Ducky One 2 sounds like the best option.
  5. I don't find dirt to be much of an issue. Even the very small amounts of dirt that do form can be easily cleaned.
  6. I'd suggest mapping it to a mousewheel press or mouse 4/5 if its available. If that's not an option, AutoHotKey might be a solution using this script: WheelUp:: Send {WheelUp} Sleep, 1000 return This adds a 1 second delay to my scrolling in Windows. I haven't tried it in a game though.
  7. I've run into this before, try not setting an IP
  8. I had a look on Amazon NL on Saturday and I couldn't find a reputable board which: was within your budget, had a quiet switch, and was in stock. If you want a good quality board you're either going to have to buy from a foreign distributor or increase your budget.
  9. I'm about the same as you I think. It'll likely vary from person to person but I haven't experience any pain or discomfort with a lighter mouse. I used an M65 (~135g) and it became kind of annoying after a while, it wasn't uncomfortable but the mass definitely made it slightly harder to play with. I disagree, you should chose based upon comfort. It's like a steering wheel, if it feels awkward to use it's going to have a negative impact on your performance.
  10. I haven't personally tried the new Viper mice but they look really promising. The G Pro wireless is also a very solid mouse and is very widely used. The choice boils down to what eco system you want to involve yourself in. I believe Logitech are more reputable than Razer, with Logitech's only major downfalls being their double clicking issues and their god awful software (I've heard many horror stories about it and I don't know if they've fixed it yet). If you're not getting involved in an eco system, Razer seems by far to be the better choice here. In regards to lightweight mice, I transitioned from a Razer Deathadder (~105g) to a Glorious Model O (~67g) and it took a day or two to get used the change in mass but feels much better to play with.
  11. Zealios V2s are a very solid switches and they're much nicer than MX Reds or Razer Yellows you've had in the K70/Blackwidow. Some switches, such as MX Silent Reds, have sound dampening built into them.
  12. That's not true at all. The vast majority of people buy mechanical keyboards because they offer a much nicer experience to type on. Any recent surge in mech board sales are likely cause by people spending more time on their computers and now realising that they would prefer using a mech board
  13. Why would he chose a membrane board over a mechanical one?
  14. If you want to play it safe, Brown (tactile) switches are used by the vast majority of people (result from 2017 r/mk poll). If you haven't really tried many switches they are likely the right choice. Since you can get both for the same price, I would pick the K95. But why do you specifically want a Corsair board? Their boards are pretty expensive for what you get and their only defining feature is the RGB. In most other threads we usually recommend other brands such as Ducky who often have better build quality for less money.
  15. In terms of quality and price, either Logitech or HyperX are probably your best options but they might be out of stock and stretch your budget a bit. Redragon are probably the only cheaper options that are actually worthwhile, but as already mentioned, it might be a bit difficult to find one of their boards with Reds or Browns.
  16. I believe they use UPlay for DRM reasons. I don't think there is a legal way around it.
  17. Nope, the "improvement" is negligible. Your display likely makes the biggest impact on your performance but even at that it's not going to instantly make you a Shroud.
  18. G103 is a good mouse, get some better headphones. I haven't dabbled in the audio market in a while though and you'd be better off looking for some info in the audio forum.
  19. Linear means that when you press down the key, it's completely smooth all the way to the bottom. There is not "bump" when the key activates. MX Reds are often compared to membrane boards but just less mushy.
  20. It's exactly this, a marketing gimmick. Get something that you enjoy typing on
  21. A keyboard is not going to make you better at gaming. 99.99% of the time, the deciding factor in a game is entirely up to your mouse control. The only benefit of "gaming" keyboards is their programmability but most of this can be fixed by configurable macro software.
  22. Have you overclocked? Your voltage might be a little low.
  23. Corsair offer a PBT set of keycaps, they're more expensive than ABS but they're much more durable and nicer to type on.
