  1. Black ops 2 was pretty good, I prefer black ops 3 on pc though. Like others had said, I wouldn't recommend titanfall. You'll most likely find more players on black ops 2
  2. Looking in another forum where someone asked this, the explanation was that GPUs are already "multi-core" if you consider stream processors as a core in itself. GPUs are designed to do one thing, they're specialized for one purpose. Your CPU is designed with multiple cores since its doing multiple things with programs. GPUs are more parallel in the sense that they process things one at a time and having an actual dual core GPU may not equal better performance.
  3. Everything will be fine. My current pc is same everything and the case has been changed 3 times. Just plug everything back in and it should boot up just like normal.
  4. Well I'm staying with AMD for a while since I bought a BenQ 1440p 144hz Freesync monitor. Also, I actually had a Fury X. I bought it a few weeks ago, had it for 4 days before selling it and putting my 390 back in. It was nice having an AIO on the card, but the 4GB of VRAM was an issue. I'll be clear, 4GB was probably PLENTY for most games right now at 1440p. However, i play a lot of Black Ops 3, and in bo3 if you have 4GB or less of VRAM, it doesn't allow you to choose "extra textures" option so you can only play the game on high settings rather than what would be considered "ultra". That's a big deal for me since having the extra textures makes the game look amazing at 1440p. So... After I found out about the 4GB issue with bo3, I decided to just sell it and buy another 390. I'll still be upgrading to whatever new stuff comes out this year.
  5. That's the sapphire r9 390 length in a NZXT s340. It's a pretty beastly card. What resolution are you playing at? I ask because at 1080p the card never went above 54°C and at 1440p it never went above 65°C both with a custom fan profile in msi afterburner. I'll be buying a second 390 soon, I highly recommend their cards and the 390 is awesome having 8GB of VRAM. Even at 1440p I'm running black ops 3 with an average of 90fps
  6. No, but I play on 1440p 144Hz. A single 390 I average 90fps with everything maxed on BO3, though I also play dying light, and with everything maxed I average 45fps in that game. Even with Freesync on its fine but I want it to be a bit smoother with a higher frame rate so I'm going to add a second. I'm just waiting until I can buy the second card and a new PSU at the same time lol
  7. Congrats, I have a friend in Oregon who has a 270x that's on its last legs, I bought him a 380x to replace it. It's a beast of a card according to a lot of reviews on YouTube. Especially at 1080p gaming. I think it'll handle 1080p ultra wide fine as well. I own a sapphire NITRO R9 390 and love it. I'll be buying a second one soon to crossfire them.
  8. If you want to play BO3 on Extra texture quality (ultra) then you'll need more than 4GB of ram. Though if you don't mind playing on high settings, then 4GB should suit you fine.
  9. You're basically doubling the GPU power available, BUT it doesn't always mean you'll see double the performance. It depends how the game will scale and use the two GPUs. I wouldn't recommend dual GPUs unless you're running multiple 1080p monitors or running 1440p or higher. The ROI isn't always worth it.
  10. I'd recommend the Enthoo luxe or h440. Phanteks build quality is top notch. I have an NZXT s340 which has an identical interior to the h440, and its very nice both functionality wise and looks. Those would be my two recommendations. As far as Corsair goes, I'm not a fan of their build quality of their cases. Though that's just personal experience.
  11. That's how mine is mounted with a 240 AIO.
  12. Master case pro by cooler master maybe. Or if you want phenteks, you can look at the Enthoo pro, Enthoo pro m. Is there a specific reason you want to mount the rad and fans like that?
  13. Like Acquire said, it wouldnt do much. I have the evolv atx with an AIO in the top mounted on the bracket though. It barely has enough room for the air to escape. I'd look into a different case if I were you.
