  1. This is really bugging me... Why would Chrome still hang on all these RAM in its "Browser" tab after I closed all my tabs. Why can't it just release the RAM by itself already, instead of waiting for me to close all my tabs and the browser to clear it. This is very inconvenience. Are you guys sure this is totally normal? Because I just don't recall having this kind of RAM problem with Chrome before.
  2. 25+ tabs thus far. I'm curious how the ram consumption had climbed so high in this "Browser" tab. Because every time I restart chrome, the "Browser" would start at 300k-ish MB, but eventually it would climb as high as 1.5 GB and never seem to release it at all. Even though I left my browser idle with 20+ tabs on it, the ram will still steadily go up little by little, and I don't seem to recall having this issue with chrome before.
  3. Is my google chrome leaking memory? If so, is there any other way to fix this issue rather than close and reopen?
  4. I sat on this chair for a year now, and I have to say... I hate it. This chair is definitely not for long gaming/sitting session, because the cushion will become totally flat after 30 days. After that you are pretty much sitting on a wooden floor. Got deceived by its look man. Also, the build quality is actually pretty cheap, screws became loose after a while.
  5. PC stutters and CPU usage jumping up and down like crazy for a few seconds after coming back from a 20~30 min idle. Afterward everything will be back to normal. What's causing this? Also, what is taking up all my 120GB SSD C-Drive (4GB left)? Even though I'm suppose to still have around 20GB free space left. Temp folder only have 600MB stuffs in there. Thank you in advance. Spec: windows 7 64bit gtx 970 samsung SSD x1 WD HHD x2
  6. So im back at my computer right now. I noticed something new and strange this time. After I boot up my computer, it seems that I only use 2% CPU and 2GB out of 16GB RAM for all my startups. However, after a minute later my RAM usage jumped from 2GB to 4GB~5GB usage without touching the computer. So I used RAMmap to see what's going on, and apparently I have 2GB of RAM being use by Nonpaged Pool, and it's still counting a bit by bit. So any idea what's going on?
  7. For the task manager, I definitely checked prior this post. And it doesn't seem to have anything abnormal. Though the CPUs usage of the "system idle process" is very high, around 60-90. That's why I'm out of idea.
  8. Hi, Ty for replying. I log off and re log the account of this computer, which this should eliminate all the programs I previously opened. While all the startups are all the same from 1 year ago. However, 8gb of ram is still being used right off the bat.
  9. just recently my computer start feeling sluggish, and it appears that 10 to 20% of cpu usage and 8gb of my 16gb ram is being used by "nothing". This lead to problems like not letting my computer go to sleep mode. What weird is that the ram is still being use, even after I log off and relogin my only account in this computer. I'm using windows 7 64bit, please help me out. Also I know all my startups and this have never happen to me before
  10. RIP, turning off the smart volume doesn't seem to help, the high pitch human voice is very hurtful to my ear via headphones. I don't know if its the sound card or the headphones' fault, since i can't notice it via speaker. However, these problem occurs to 2 of my different headphones, sennheiser rs120 and philips fidelio x2.
  11. Does the "loudness equalization" in windows 7 consider one of those too?
  12. I'm noob In songs, every time the singer starts a new sentence of lyrics, the first word or sound will, not always, but frequently resulting in a very high pitch/spiky sound which it really hurts my ear as I continue to listen it. What's this problem called, is there a term for it?
  13. thanks for all the reply and suggestion.
  14. I'm a noob to audio. The alc1150 chip is from my z87 msi mpower max onboard soundcard with creative Sound blaster cinema. I use a cheap logitech 2.1 stereo speakers and a philips fidelio x2. What i want to know is does Fiio e10k worth the upgrade over this onboard soundcard of mine. I mean this chip is not that bad, right? Msi says it can drive 600ohm HP ._.
