  2. hello hello,Its for my daughter, schoolteacher, very dependent on her laptop.I want to get her one with a SSD to boot from and a Hdd , at least 1 Tb.I was looking at this and a few other about the same price range.»www.amazon.com/dp/B077NR ··· HBH&th=1I know it says "gaming" but almost every lap top I see with both a SSD and Hdd is labeled "gaming"I could use some advice here.
  3. 1- Yea I kinda thought about that. I will take your advice and go with the Gold efficiency. 2- Storage- I planned on the 960 for the Boot drive and load windows 10 on it. I have a machine with this M.2 in it now, its really fast. The other SSD is for games and the 1Tb HD is for all my other stuff. But eliminating the HD and just getting a 1 TB SSD is a good thought. I'm gonna have to do some comparisons. 3- Yea, i could eliminate the DVD drive. I have one in every machine I got and haven't used a DVD or Blue Ray in ages LOL 4- The case. Honestly, I fell in love with that case. I gotta have it. I know you understand 5- Windows 10. Um, I never bought from any of those places. Kinda scared to LOL. Are they Legit?
  4. Hello Hello, I would like to put together a new machine. Used mostly for gaming. Also some animation work. This is what I have in my head. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/bobbagels/saved/yqpmGX Budget is basically where that build is at. (roughly) The graphics card will probably be either the Asus gaming card or the EVGA when they come out, not the F/E. http://www.pcgamer.com/here-are-all-the-new-gtx-1080-ti-graphics-cards/ Any advice is welcome. PS- I already have the monitor (PG279Q) OH, And I dont give a rats arse about RGB or lighting, I care more about performance, Thank You Bagels
  5. I dont plan on SLI, Actually I might hold out until the 1080 Ti . I am a big fan of one good video card. Plus the game I usually play does not support any SLI profiles. But I am getting a little confused. If I dont plan on 4K or SLI, Just one good 1080 Ti, will this build work? I already have a 5930K thats screaming fast. I just wanted to put together another kick arse machine.
  6. "The 6700K only supports 24 PCIe lanes, while the 6800K can do 28 and the 6850K can support 40. " Will this be a problem with the load out I have planned now? PS- I do not plan on 4K just yet.
  7. Hello hello, I am planning to put together a new pc for myself. It will be used mostly for gaming. Can some of you guys check it out and let me know what you think? please. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/bobbagels/saved/bPKXLk I have a large PSu in there for further expansion in the future, plus compared to a 1000 W PSU the extra cost is minimal (i think) I welcome all comments and suggestions. I would like to place the order right after the new year.

    Mic Boom Arm

This is a GOOD arm. More expensive, but very nicely made. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004PJ414I?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00 I found those other arms to be cheaply made compared to this.
  11. I got a Blue Yet on a Boom (love the boom, completely out of the way) and love it. http://www.amazon.com/Blue-Microphones-Yeti-USB-Microphone/dp/B002VA464S/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1445788294&sr=8-3&keywords=usb+microphone+blue+yeti
  12. OK, Thank you, I will order directly from their site. I just returned a MK III to Massdrop. (the drop is over) It was defective. Kept blowing the internal fuse upon turning it on. But I tell ya, Im not as experienced as you guys. But Man did that amp sound good when it worked. I mean, I have a SMSL sd-79311 Optical right now. Sounds good. But once I switched it to a Dac and then the Mk III I could tell the diference right away. (once I learned about the gain settings on the amp). It was just like a calmer / richer / more powerfull sound. So, I got refunded. And ordering straight from their site is even $40.00 less than massdrop was. No harm, no fowl.
  13. Thx for answering. So those two sites I posted are the right place? Im pretty sure both are actually the same from the same person.
  14. Hello hello, Im looking to pick up a Little Dot MK III I know I can get it from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Little-Dot-Headphone-Amplifier-AMPLIFIER/dp/B00CHIKIDM But I also see it here http://www.littledot.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=815&sid=95c0fd65a2f552fbdb7feba9be2a780f and here http://www.ebay.com/sch/davidzhezhe/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686 Both of which are considerably cheaper than Amazon. I think the last 2 sites I posted are run by the guy that sells them himself? davidzhezhe ??? Why so much cheaper? About 100.00 less. Would anyone know about these 2 sites ?
