  1. Hey guys !

I have been waiting for Nvidia to release their new GTX 980, wich I was hoping would be in the 500$ range.

They announced the cards at 550$, this made me pretty happy but every retailer I know and willing to buy from (Amazon.ca, Newegg.ca, Ncix.ca, Tigerdirect.ca) are listing it at more than 600$

Is the price different because they just launched it and the quantities are limited ?

Will the price drop in a few weeks or maybe a month ?

Because if the price is not going down I might as well just buy one right now.

    Thank you !

    thats canada for you

  2. G930 is your best price to performance headset you can probably get. my buddy has one since "forever" and he seems pretty happy with it. It also sounds like a little worse version of my sennheisers 350 se's, which is not bad by any means.

i have the g930 and the problems i have with it are you can hear some static sound, and it makes popping sounds when i have it at %100 but not when its 99 or below so thats weird.

  3. Is the game set to fullscreen? ESO had the same issue where it wouldn't fully use a hardware's capabilities unless it was actually fullscreen (not windowed or windowed-fullscreen).

why are some games  not able  fully use the hardwares capabilites when not full screen? i notice league of legends does that somewhat too, and i for one strongly dislike fullscreen as it makes tabbing out to my second monitor some what of a pain 8(

  4. Are the Logitech gaming headsets any good? Is the G35 , G430 worth it in your opinions? I personally own a G35 but it broke and logitech sent me a replacement. I am asking because my brother wants a headset and he purchased a G430 and I hes wondering if he should take it back because it seems a bit flimsy. What is your opinion? I have attached pictures of the G35 if anyone is curious how it broke.

my friend has the logitech g930 wireless headset and he said he loved it and my other friend has the g430 but he doesn't use it much since his cat chewed the wire and ear pads

  5. Hey,

I'm just curious from coming from playing BF3 on consoles, realising that KB&M is massively better than using a controller as infantry - is it the same with jets/heli's?

I'm OK with the jet at the minute in air-to-air combat but picking off ground targets I can sometimes take out enemy soldiers and definitely take out vehicles. However, would you think I'd benefit from moving to using a KB&M on that, too to take out infantry?

Also, I'm learning how to be good in a helicopter so any tips would be well appreciated! Thanks! :D

i loved helicopters with KB&M i binded nose up to space and nose down to alt for quick dodges/turning and used the mouse for precise aiming, same controls for jets too, but this was in bf4 not bf3

  6. Well, I used to have a G9x (Hands down best mouse ever!!!) and got the G500s as a replacement.

It's a very good mouse, I've had no problems with it. It's just that for me, personally, it's just not exactly what I want.. it just feels a bit off in my hand so I'm probably going to get the G502 or get someone to fix the cable issue on my G9x.

About mouse accel, I've had no problems with that. You can disable that in the Logitech Software and also in-game and on windows so I don't really get why people are complaining about it since I've been able to switch it off.

It has a good sensor, it lies good in the hand, Software works good, ... what else can I say? It's Logitech, you can never go wrong with them. If something breaks on the mouse, just RMA it, you'll have a new one immediately.

If they would still make the G9x, I'd say go for that one but the G500s is a damn good mouse so you'll be fine with that one.

You can also spend like 10-15 bucks extra, if you want to, and get the G502. Lots of good reviews on that mouse (even by linus :o and he called it a worthy successor of the G9x) and it somewhat is the best mouse out there (in terms sensor etc).

i was thinking about getting the g502 but its like $90 here :(
