Shirkan's Achievements

  1. Awesome article, really do appreciate it! Thanks for the time and effort!
  2. Go 970 if you can, there definitely is a difference.
  3. Manual recommends using PCI16_1 and PCI16_2. They should still be quite cool
  4. I won't buy the stuff before september anyway, so maybe the 980ti will become my choice
  5. That's because of these Corsair PSU Ads on every LinusTechTips-Video And I was a bit too obsessed with the white color scheme regarding GPU
  6. Nice! Didn't think I could get a X99 for only 2100€! Thank you
  7. I am certainly no pro regarding RAM, but the activity display often shows Photoshop RAM Usage up to 25GB, so I guess I will need the 32GB at least. But thanks for the input, I will definitely change PSU, Storage and maybe GPU (Color is not everything ). Is this working with the 4790k? I think 64GB will get too expensive, as well as a X99 and maybe different CPU.
  8. Hey Guys, I'm totally new to this forum and I hope you can help me. I'm planning to build a PC mostly for gaming, but I want to be able to also work at home. I am a high end product retoucher for jewelry and other luxury products, so the files I'm working on often get quite huge (8GB+). At my workplace I am working on the new Quad-Core Mac Pro with 64GB of RAM. This is why I will need at least 32GB of RAM for my build at home. For the gaming, I want to be able to play fluent on 1080p. As I am going to place my PC in the living room, where the color scheme is mostly white and has a lot of glossy white surfaces, I chose the white Motherboard, white case, white LED fans and white GPU. This is the link for my build on pcpartpicker: http://de.pcpartpicker.com/p/9kcbQ7 Please let me know, if you have any comments, suggestions, questions or anything. Thank you all in advance, Best, Marc
