  1. so you got a new one and on old one this means that you better cant go to a raid setup so just get the other second drive for files and media and the first one for os and programs
  2. definetly underneath the optical drive remove the hdd rack if possible fan position doesnt really matter i think the topslot will be slightly better especially if you cant remove the drivebay ps your psu has his own cooling it doesnt need any air. especially if you mount it fan side down
  3. if a hdd makes noises it might be a sign of it dying
  4. i think you have got to install them all it is essentially a new computer so you got to create all the files associated to the games again
  5. tnx he has not but i cant find the one i am going to use in partpicker thoughed he was able to get something more powerfull along the way when he is going to play more intensive games
  6. yeah if this had integrated graphics i also think about upgrading in the long run (better cpu (you got the low end now))
  7. allright why so?
  8. friend of my wants a 300 euro pc which is capabel to play minecraft his father should be able to get the os for free so that is not a problem i made this note there is no case but the case is not available in pcpartpicker http://pcpartpicker.com/p/9g4kxr total cost is around 330 euro another site which makes pc's is this one https://gamepc.nl/game-pc-kopen/game-pc-budget-info.html which one is better? tnx
  9. you can buy a mini display to hdmi as well doesn't really matter cause the bottleneck would be the hdmi in both cases
  10. got no clue but you would be able to make a screenshot and then count the pixels with a program like paint
  11. yes but other brand or line (a bit more expensive)
  12. it is smart to clean the dustfilter like every week (depending of use offcourse) you might want to add an extra intakefan which might make it less dusty a full clean up is necessary when the temps are going to high
  13. should be good as long as you are not going to sli the 980 than you should have a more powerfull psu you might want to consider and get a 980ti (one of your plans) and then get some better mouse and keyboard later on
  14. maybe try a stick of your old pc?
  15. yeah if he didnt plan to go skylake which uses ddr4 and other mobo and you list an entire computer....
