could go away from the k cpu and the zboard. save a few bucks. refarding the gtx 970 its the biggest bang for your buck atm, you could maybe save sum on a non k cpu, non z board and a cheaper case. would reccomand you taking an ssd , just grab a 120 gb to run your os on, this will increasethe overall feel and speed of your pc !

i u went for the 4670k i would have gone for the 4690k , its 20 bucks cheaper and newer I would allso concider either gigabytes or msi's Gtx 970 over zotac, i doesnt really mather wich manufacurer you go for, but i know that both gigabyte and msi oc very well, better copoling better clocks my msi gtx 970 runs with a 210mhz core clock and a 550 memory clock stable atm that pc looks good imo, will run the shit out of tera,rift, wow,gta ,,witcher 3 on ultra all

True for editing and such, but for gaming, there isnt much to gain. and ocing does give a better edge to gaming then hyperthreading ;

well its clear he wanna oc, with zboard, kcpu and a decent cpu cooler, why go for xeon? I would maybe concider another cpu cooler, like the noctua, the build looks good tho all in all, just personal prefference the cooler on my part =

Ive been building my new rig now since tuesday, been working and busy with family stuff so ive taken my time Been ocing my gpu the last 2 days and got it stable last night, been stress testing gpu all night and day 16 hours straight and its good i recon Will come back later in this post to my gpu results,im very pleased! Mobo: Asus maximus vii ranger Cpu: i5 4690K Gpu: Msi Gtx 970 Psu:corsair rm 850 Ram: Hyper x fury, went for old kit Corsair vengeance 1600mhz 16Gb Hdd:hyper x ssd 240gb, kinston ssd 120, WB it and a wd 1,5 t Cpu cooler: stoc, Waiting on my H110i gt picture of my build I will take sum more picture when i get my cooler and i can call it a complete build for real Regarding my gpu ive been working on it for the last 2 days now, my final stable clock: Mv: +50 Powerlimit:+110% Coreclock: +210 Mem clock:500 Higherst boostclock ive seen on afterburner 1576 Mhz Memoryclock 4001Mhz Will be working on maybe getting a higher memory clock, but as for now im very pleased! Did furmark for 16 hours , no crash did ALOT of 3dmark Firestrike runs and got various results: 10635 10966 10977 Hope you enjoyed and please give me feedback !

If it can be bothered to go boost mode? Isnt there a manual way to make it run boost?

SO im concidering getting in on this:) how is the stability? I can run this until win 10 releases? If so i will have t reinstall win 8.1 and upgrade from there?
