  1. Would be interested in an SC, likely with dennis, about the OSIM uThrone gaming chair with massage functionality, unless its the same chair as the Acer Predator that is
  2. Looks like the easiest way for me to go is get 4 SAS2008 or 2308 as i cant seem to find an LSI 16i thats compatible and i am already comfortable with the flashing process
  3. Also I believe the 9201-16i runs on the SAS2116 chipset
  4. Sadly the LSI 9201-16i does not seem to support them at least in the configuration that was shipped and the 45-drives support mentioned that it isnt supported either I am running the current fw (20) and it doesn't recognize the disk and at this time i cant poke around in the settings at the risk of taking the server out for an extended period either
  5. I have never used adaptec cards before, just been partial to LSI i guess. Thanks for the 2010 tip, didnt even consider that.
  6. A bit of background I currently am using a 2017 storinator for a file/plex/game server and I am thinking about switching to larger drives, the issue is this series is the direct wire model so i have to stick with the existing SFF-8087 cables as back then 45-drives had these custom molded. I already contacted them and they do not have an upgrade path short of me buying a new chassis (no mobo etc.), I intend to at some point but not right now. As I want to start using 4K native drives(4Kn) (14-18tb) i need an alternative to the existing 2xLSI 9201-16i and I am not having a lot of luck.
  7. prob a microsd card slot that can be used for some sort of hypervisior, though an actual usb port would have been nice too.
  8. Cool looking projector (would have loved this at the overwatch party we had recently) Bluetooth Speaker capability is nice to have(i use the UE boom for everything, and you can pair multiple together) Not a huge fan of the "Smart" capability as there are very few products that provide a great experience, and this doesn't even support plex.....so movie nights would still require someone to bring a laptop. Now if this had a travel official travel bag/hardcase i would be sold........
  9. i dont have access to the clients local network, configuration has to be done on the ubiquiti Edgerouter Lite
  10. I have setup an Ubiquiti EdgeRouter Lite in NAT mode with the configuration below Port Configuration:Eth0: WAN (192.168.1.0/24)Eth1: Public LAN (192.168.100.0/24)Eth2: Disabled DHCP Server settings:Subnet: 192.168.100.0/24Range Start: 192.168.100.21Range End: 192.168.100.239DNS1: 8.8.8.8Lease time: 1800sec Currently I am on the 192.168.100.0/24 network but am able to access clients on the 192.168.1.0/24 network.I'm pretty sure its a firewall rule i need to add to prevent clients from being able to navigate between them but this product is new to me, any help would be appreciated.
  11. Has anyone seen any reviews for this product surface yet. I'm looking for a decently powered windows/android device, and with android support in the future and this seems to fit the form factor i am looking at, the reviews on the Hi10 seem to be ok and the usb ports are a plus battery seems to be ok.
  12. Just finished the update about 20 mins ago on my 830, lets see how i feel about it over the next week
  13. Does anyone know of a compatible full cover waterblock for the xfx 280x, i have been looking for a while but since its a non reference board it shows up on most compatibility checks as a "no" reasoning non reference but isnt verified. Or am i SOL.
  14. First you need to learn how to use the software and get appropriate licencing, before you go ahead and start buying anything you need to understand your product and be able to support it, Then as someone starting off you can look at a place to lease or colo servers from to resell your services, but for now research
