nzxt hue+ is a must, unless you already have your set up in a specific color. what gpus do you have? -
i started a seperate topic about this stuff, few people are posting already, cpuwaiy, please go read it, not trying to be mean or anything of that nature i simply want the right info to be given out to the right people. i would like if you commenting in the thread i made, i want you to defend your side so we can have an adult, in depth talk about it. even if i turn out wrong then atleast we both know. for OP, if you dont plan to OC, having a K rated cpu is unneeded, return and get a regular 6700 if possible. use the money for something else, but yes, windows 10 upgrade and redo all your drivers and stuff

ok so in a different thread a fellow LLT member is stating that a Z rated MB are not meant for OC but rather to enable Xfire. while i claim that a Z rated MB is built and designed for OC in mind and that you can run sli/Xfire on any chipset as long as the MB is designed by the Manufacturer to use more then 1 video card. i simply want someone, especially staff to clear up the matter so that wrong info isnt being told to other members, and this way if it turns out im the one in the wrong, then i know better and i learn something

can we please get a moderator in here to clear this up... this guy is spreading wrong info... for Xfire and SLI it depends on your MB specs and your availible pci lanes on your cpu and your plx chip... a Z rated MB is built and designed for OC K series CPUs you can sli and xfire on even a B rated MB if you wanted, just has to be supported by the MB. please for gods sake just leave this thread

850 evo... dont go get cheap brands, save a up an extra few bucks and spend it on something worth it. a 500gb 850 evo is only 165usd on amazon.com

the K on your cpu means it unlocked for overclocking, the H on the motherboard means your MB isnt meant for OC... only Z rated boards are meant for overclocking

to me there is a list, you bought a K series chip but only an H rated MB, why not a Z rated or why not stick with the 6700 non-K? ram speed is very low for ddr4 the hybrid drive is honestly a waste of money. especially that you have a 120gb boot, though i would have gone with a better brand like samsung 850 evo ssd.

so i need a quick answer, 275 for a used 980 (in new condition) or 269.99 for a new 1060 6gb? simply which is more powerful

just make a battery pack out of 18650s, thats what i have my jeep running on, and i have a 1500w system with a bunch of led bars and shit. 4 18650s in series is 14.8v, perfect for your alt to keep topped of and then you simply run 4 packs in parallel to get the desired AH. im running a 4s20p pack of 3000mah inr cells, gives me about 400amps of max draw if i need it and a good 60ah capacity.

Is this APU good for a HTPC?
Andrew Storlie replied to MrlUnleashed's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
just keep in mind for an APU your graphics depend on your ram speed alot so get some really fast like 2400mhz dd3 ram and yea youll be perfect for an htpc build that can even do light gaming.
