I don't understand the Windows 10 battery slider. I put the slider all the way to the left (better performance) and my estimated battery live goes up to 5 and a half hours. I put it one notch from the left (better battery life) and it says I only have 2 hours.

    In my experience, the battery slider is telling fibs and doesn't really save battery at all.

    all the way to the left turns on battery saver, which doesn't allow your cpu to boost anymore. open task manager and looka t the cpu clock speed as you adjust the slider.
