I think that problem with bypassing the HH300 is that it will effect my Fibe TV.

Ya Bell Canada does not offer any other router or modem (at least when i chated with them). Which is dumb if you offer speeds over 1 gigabit. I building it mainly to learn pfsense more then it being a necessity.

I would need something that has RJ45. I need to keep the existing router (HH300) in because it controls my tv box's. The router that i'm building is going to be DIY. I already have it built but i i'm missing a NIC. Im building it mainly for me to get a firewall and maybe do Vlans later. I do not really have a budget for the nic but want to keep it the lowest possible.

I’m currently looking to build my own router Using Pfsense. I need to replace my current NIC as it is quite old. I need one that supports at least 1.5 Gigabits and looking to get recommendation and where do you guys buy them.

ya i know......but when i hade to fix this issue in the past i hade to reinstalle windows to make it work again because uninstalling chrome did not work...

because if i reinstall windows it fixes it but im trying to avoid having to do that.. All the other times that it happend it was a chrome virus.. But this time i dont know what it is and im using windows 10 all the updates are done.

what do you mean how many processes.(how many apps) because even with juste chrome open its uses like 80%. Under the chrome memory tab its says that its is using only 188.5mb. Now it started that when i load chrome its maxs out my cpu and make apps crashEX: task maneger, windows,ect

Sorry i have 16GB of corsair vangeance at 2666. Its just happend out of the blue>(it started maxing out juste like that) its the first time that it happend this way

So Hey, I'm having an issue with my ram being at maximum usage most of the time. When I turn on the computer its at around 20% but when I load chrome it's at 85% to 100%. I think that it's a chrome virus but my anti virus does not find it. What would be another way to fix it.(I don't want to uninstall windows) I tried running multiple scans and nothing. I even tried uninstalling chrome and still nothing. Any help would be appreciated!!
