  1. The RAM LED is lit up which might indicate that the ram is bad? but I don't want to go ahead and buy new ram.
  2. Is it possible that my cables are not working? I have a DP cable and 2 DP to HDMI cables. Just tried plugging the DP to HDMI on my mac to the monitors and they also have no signal. Although I can't test the DP cable since my macbook doesn't have a DP port. Also now only one of my fans on the gpu is spinning. Not sure if it's part of the if it's cool the fans don't spin kinda deal but now I'm really starting to freak out.
  3. Can I just unplug the power cable to the GPU or should I unplug the GPU entirely?
  4. So this is a similar problem to many people. My computer turns on but shows no sign of any external interactions. The monitor doesn't pick up a signal, the keyboard doesn't light up anything. I've tried to reset my CMOS by pressing the CMOS button and removing the battery cable connected to the motherboard. Some context, my current hardware is. CPU: i7 6700k GPU: MSI armor GTX 1080 MOBO: MSI Z170I Gaming Pro AC SSD: Samsung 500GB I also came back from a 4-month long summer break where before the summer break the computer was working perfectly fine. Once I came back plugged everything in that's where the problem started. Maybe I'm not shorting the CMOS correctly or something? The manual is a bit hard to understand since the graphs are not very helpful imo.
  5. I currently have the viewsonic XG2401. After doing quite a bit of research, in the 1080p 144hz market this model has one of the best color accuracy at my time of purchase (almost a year ago) and comparing it to the 1080p 144hz Asus model that ppl keep recommending this one is way better imo. https://www.amazon.com/ViewSonic-XG2401-FreeSync-Monitor-DisplayPort/dp/B01A0ZRR50/ref=sr_1_12?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1497168957&sr=1-12&keywords=144hz+monitor
  6. I'm thinking of the PBE-5AC-300 since we don't need such overkill
  7. That's true I'm looking into that right now
  8. So how would that work? I have very little to no experience in working with wifi equipment other than plugging my ethernet cable to the wall and restarting a modem
  9. So my school just started to broadcast my school games but our current problem is that currently we have been using our cellular hotspot to broadcast the games as our fields are far away from our school wifi and ethernet ports. Though I was hoping to buy some long internet cables and currently only found this product though it seems like 500 ft is a tad bit too short. Are there any other products you guys could recommend for me? We just use a very standard windows laptop to broadcast the video so if you do recommend a non ethernet/usb port can you also link a adapter pls? Thanks!
