  1. That's not really the hardware to stream with. It barely games. (no offense, just stating facts)
  2. AIO's can only dream about being close to NH-D15 in noise department.
  3. But that doesn't assure them there won't be problems with XMP settings. It's always recommended to get 2 same sticks from same kit. Even though, chances of it not working are really low. Just not sure if it's a smart recommendation for work reliant machine.
  4. Also, your University is gonna be able to provide Windows 10 licence for free. Every does. 32GB of RAM in dual channel instead of 16GB single channel, 1050Ti instead of 1060, R7 2700 instead of R5 1600: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Vg36RJ
  5. If there's gonna be little to no GPU workload, you might be better off with 1050 Ti for half the price. The delta would be better allocated in R7 2700. Also you want dual channel memory instead of single channel.
  6. Use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and clean up drivers in safe mode.
  7. I'd suggest you to try out OBS and set up NVENC encoding that way. It's same what ShadowPlay is doing, but you just have more control over it. And perhaps ShadowPlay alone is causing those issues.
  8. Could you provide OBS video & encoder settings, aswell as ShadowPlay settings?
  9. You should wait for GTX 1100 series GPU's. In the meanwhile try and search for ways to optimize current games for lower end hardware, overclock GPU, put settings down etc.
  10. If it's not hardware related, if it's not driver related (you tried DDU uninstall?), I'd go with fresh Windows install.
  11. After 1.4 you might be slowly degrading the CPU. Not recommended for long term usage.
  12. That might be an option, even though I'm not lacking any storage space for my personal use. That small fan isn't audible at all. However, the GPU does coil whine when outputting insane amount of fps in some scenes. Forcing vsync in those games helps. Hmmm, quite sure it's not confirmed. All leaks so far indicate 11XX. It's also only logical scheme as they've been increasing in 100 increments every generation. The Dell screen is quite new. I might replace 2nd display with same size 1440p 60Hz screen. But that's a lot of money for little actual improvement The shelf and the table is student dorm's equipment. Wouldn't be practical and/or possible to change anything here in that regard. There's a lot of color missmatch in the case, wouldn't TG do me harm then? You got everything right here. Just wondering, why is everyone almost sure Intel won't solder CPU's anymore?
  13. Well kind of yeah. But I probably won't take 9700k if it won't be soldered and it's most likely 1180 instead of 2080 It's just the itch for tinkering with setup that's bothering me right now.
  14. I'm running out of ideas for upgrades in my setup. Not interested in making big platform change yet (until Cannon Lake & Turing is out). Also, this is student dorm so any hard modifications like drilling a hole in the table for cable management isn't permitted I'm more function over form kind of guy, so RGB and all thaz jazz comes later, maybe. I was thinking of sound dampening the inside of case but I heard it's not doing much in noise department. If you have LITERALLY ANY suggestion, don't hesitate to say it here. 15. Basically, I'd move out if I was that censored.
  16. I need few people from EU (latency limitation) who can speak english as I'll be streaming in my facebook group with 73 000 people. I don't play matchmaking (at all) so faceit account is a requirement aswell. If you want to joke around, I'm in, if you want to tryhard, I'm in. You can PM me here if you're interested. Cheers!
  17. All applications stress hardware in different way. You need more than just few stress tests to determine stability of the system.
  18. XLR interface and whole setup would cost way too much.
  19. Something like this but with proper connection.
  20. Still the mute button on the fly is pretty handy Idk if I could make some sort of USB switch with cable going in the Snowball.
  21. So something like Snowball iCE (35€ used, 50€ new) should do me a better justice?
  22. There's no mute button on Snowball, right?
