  1. In Adobe I have found that lower end AMD GPUs really overtake Nvidia in encoding but since it's a 470 instead of a few 480, I am not too sure as a 1060 is the naturally more powerful chip. Usually AMD is the better choice in my opinion.
  2. Have you tried just making a Win 10 bootable (download it from their website) USB drive and also don't worry about the samsung software if you want to erase a drive properly just use partition manager on a different PC and delete everything and nothing will be left. (if that is what you want to do)
  3. Keep it to the lower end, especially without hyper threading I would stick to a RX 470 or a 1050 TI. (BTW RX 480 outperforms the 1060 in a few more titles than it had before thanks to the new drivers so anything under a 1060 you will be fine.) Also take in consideration what PSU you own, i'm just assuming that if you have a lowish end CPU your PSU game may not be capable of powering some GPU's.
  4. All this bad rep for VM, I've been with them since summer and iv'e had no throttling (100mbps package) and I always get 105 down and 6 up but there are problems with some of the CTMS' (fiber cabinet) if you have a Cisco one you speeds will be rock solid i can't remember the name of the another one it being with an a (or something) and that causes trouble. They are also planning 400mbps down next year but there has been a few talks that they want to focus on uploads now due to the amount of complaints.
  5. Games should use most of CPU anyway, you have an APU graphics built onto a CPU and it would not likely fail without the CPU failing as well. What i would try is use DDU and then fully install the graphics drivers again, if that doesn't work clean install of windows is then next best option.
  6. Most LCD displays will have some degree of it, it isn't that big of an issue anyway.
  7. You have to go into windows drive tool (also known as driver partition) and right-click and wipe the drive from there.
  8. Its basically a plug in. https://software.intel.com/en-us/media-sdk
  9. Ok, you can also try installing the intel media encoder SDK and that might work.
  10. It is the same process as this video but just select QS in vegas. or you can follow the other one is you want
  11. if you have an intel cpu 2000 series or later you can enable quick sync and use that with vegas as it really boosts render time.
  12. They are a great company and there warranty/returns are godlike, the best in the UK. (my opinion but I've never returned anything, just others opinion.)
  13. Yeah but you have to remove it of the motherboard and you need to use heat and a thin piece of plastic/metal to get it off otherwise you will not be able to install a new cooler.
  14. Have you tried stressing the GPU to see if that produces any problems?
  15. Have you tried stressing the GPU to see if that produces any problems?
  16. Just be careful as it might have a custom backplate on the mobo for their cooler which is stuck on with adhesive and is very difficult/tedious to remove.
  17. Have you tried creating a new volume on the drives, through the partition manager/ Disk manager?
  18. But its just a troll, it even says so in the description, just get a laugh from it!
  19. It can sometimes be a faulty thermal sensor. And i agree. ^^^^^
  20. no, it will not force shutting something down does not really hurt any component unless whilst doing updates as that can corrupt an OS.
  21. you wont hurt the SSD by shutting it down. Plus pressing the cases pw button shuts the PC down, like from windows, not like flicking the PSU switch.
  22. This one is a tad cheaper and on par and looks a bit better. :https://www.amazon.co.uk/SilentiumPC-Fera-HE1224-CPU-Cooler/dp/B01C0L60KU/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1470740461&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=silemtium+pc
