  1. on my ASUS ROG GL551 laptop, which has a Nvidia 960m and an Intel 4720HQ. Whenever I try and run any game in 1080p, the game will launch, but the entire thing will be moved to the bottom right portion of the screen. I cannot find anyone else who has had this problem online and have found no working solution. plz help . These are 2 examples of what happens.
  2. Oh ok, I will post there in the future. I was not aware of it's existence.
  3. It's in off topic, I thought that would be ok. ):
  4. I was thinking of purchasing a No. 4 Mk. 1 Lee Enfield rifle, and of course, where will I get ammo came to mind. I know there used to be huge stockpiles of cheap surplus .303 but I'm not very up to date with the current condition of those stockpile.
  5. That cpu cooler is superb, but it's pretty much required that someone say the Hyper 212 evo.
  6. The powder in the cartridge will ignite, but the bullet will have next to no velocity because it has no barrel to compress it. The actual bullet will not shatter into servral pieces, even if it hits something. The bullet is traveling so slowly it will not do anything majorly harmful, but still, be careful
  7. That's not really what i'm looking for. I'm not here to discuss Skylake, I'm here to discuss mATX lga 1155 motherboards.
  8. Hello. I am upgrading to the new Intel Skylake 6600k, which will be replacing my Intel 3570k. I do not want to waste the 3570k though, and I have a use for it. I am building an mATX build with the 3750k, an AMD r7 250x in a Thermaltek v21 case. The problem is however I can't use my old lga 1155 motherboard as it's a full size ATX. I am looking for an mATX lga 1155 motherboard that will be decent for small overclocking, has PWM fan control, and USB 3.0 motherboard header (The last 2 are optional, but would be nice) The only real option i've come across is the ASUS P8B75-M/CSM, but it's not exactly what i'm looking for. Thank you
  9. Very nice, but a bit out of my price range, $112 on performance-pcs.com??? That's crazy!!!!
  10. No fan. cools just by the dissapation of heat from the heatsink natrually.
  11. I was wondering what the best heatsink for an Intel i3-3220 would be. The 3220 has a TDP of 55w I would like if it's good enought to be a passive cooler. It must be able to fit on a mATX board, in a case with 160mm in cooler clearance to the side panel. 140mm coolers will NOT fit on the board without touching the gpu. Loose/heavy 120mm coolers will also touch GPU. (I know from a saggy hyper 212 evo)
  12. I was looking for some information on the "new bitcoin" aka BitcoinXT. Will it still run on the SHA-256 Algorithm? Will it be any more profitable than normal bitcoin? Will places that accept Bitcoin accept BitcoinXT? Thank you for taking the time to read this, and your answer if you left one.
  13. Hello. This is my first post on the LTT forums ever. I was wondering that if I upgrade to the new Intel Skylake series CPUs I will have to purchase a new power supply. I have tried using the power supply calculator sites but none of them have been updated yet to include the new Skylake CPUs. Right now I have an Intel 3570k @4.2ghz and am EVGA Nvidia 980 SC edition powered by a 550 watt corsair power supply. If I upgrade to the 6600k how will it affect my overall system power draw? I am planning to overclock the CPU quite a bit. What will my maximum power draw be under load?
