Hi everyone, I am having issues with my ubuntu server, i'm trying to setup an hard drive to store movies, but I can't format and use my drive in linux. Is there a good guide on how to do it? I'm having a lot of trouble with it.

Hi guys, I have a Dell Windows 10 Laptop and was wondering if it was a good idea to reset the laptop via bootable drive and get rid of all of the bloatware that dell installs. Is this a good or bad idea? Wondering if it would mess with functionality if I did this.

Yea so in my case the desktops are connected directly to the modem (the fios box which is also handles wifi for some of my house) and the router is connected to the modem only.

What kind of info, I basically just have my fios router and the UniFi access point attached. Along with that I have a couple desktops connected through ethernet

Weird issue, but I have a Ubiquiti UniFi access point and for some reason my ethernet from other computers are taking the name from the access point. Any ideas?

Yea so the front has this metal mesh front so do you think two radiator fans in the front and two case fans in the back would be good? also I’ll check out those fans too

A note this is the meshify case the older model, and it currently has two fans

Hey everyone, recently my water cooler broke and I now have radiator fans lying around. My question is, should I use the radiator fans or case fans for cooling? The radiator fans are the H100i v2 fans and the case fans are from an old NZXT case I have lying around Thanks!

Hi everyone, I have previously had a dual boot windows and linux mint on my pc. I tried to switch to ubuntu and ended up breaking some things. I hard reseted everything, did a full wipe through windows installation, then installed windows, and then installed linux. The problem is, when I boot into grub, it uses the settings from my Linux Mint grub installation instead of the Ubuntu installation. How is this even possible and how do you fix it?

Hello everyone, I recently built a PC and it has Thunderbolt 3 compatibility, but the port is not working. We're trying to plug in a Apollo Twin X to the Thunderbolt 3 and it's not working at all. We also installed the drivers for the thunder bolt off of the gigabyte website and its not working still.
