To an extent when you have sites that say "GAMBLING" where you can GAMBLE your skins and potentially make more money... it kind of is. Your comparison doesn't really work, those "machines with small toys" have a skill to an extent. Pressing "Submit" or "Use key" does not.

Okay, true. I agree that those websites are. But in the main game it's not. And a lot of people say it is. But should webshops be considered gambling too then? It's also just pressing order

It is up to the game developer to stop these websites and it is their responsibility to make sure shit like this is know. Trading in general isn't bad but do you really support this system over earning your gear? IMO I'd rather have a game release a DLC every 3 months for $20 that adds a decent amount of content to a game than deal with people putting $1500 into case openings.

fair enough. but I'm that guy that just plays the game and unlocks it without buying anything, I actually never bought any skins, cases, dlc's or anything like that. just the game
