  1. tbh I would fresh install its less of a headache then trying to pinpoint what exactly it is, could be a corrupt boot manager, windows install, an update =/ we need more info dude btw... hi david =)
  2. yeah...... i got to, MU and was like ....nope...no idea
  3. networking past basic home stuff, fanboys, my girlfriend, facebook
  4. whats your home theatre system?
  5. i really want one of those DX racer chairs, they just look awesome, im not a chair guy though i sit in it if its comfy i buy lol
  6. my soundcard has "virtual surround" which does this automatically, i have an asus xonar dx, but im sure most new boards support this out the box with realtek drivers. edit, although if im using the digital out, it wont do the virtual surround because it cant decode the signal, it uses whatever the source is im pretty sure hdmi can, but i use the digital out for my htpc, but there is usually and option in the sound settings thats says enhancements and virtual surround might be there, depending on your board/card
  7. have you set the Intel controller to AHCI mode in the bios?
  8. its normal, if you take out the plug an hold the power button down, the pc will start then stop, its just the excess electric still travelling around the board
  9. did you do a post test before you put the system in the case?, if not take everything out the case and put the MB on the box it came in then attach everything and start the computer that way, could be a grounding issue ram or psu =)
  10. do work for people for free/small profit, get a reputation, and then you will have evidence to show what you've done, ask at schools to see if you can work experience with the ITY department, you can ask at the job centre for free courses or if you get a good rep they will set you up with company's. I setup a scheme with the company i work for where we would collab with the job centre they would send me candidates that they think would be useful and then we took them on a temp contract, to give them experience, if they were good I kept them, if not... you get the idea,. the company liked it as we were getting new good staff and sending them off to other places, give the buisness a good rep, and gets you known as a trainer ( me) some places wont let you work for free as its a grey area, so look at your local volunteer office, for things like Citizens advice bureau, or a charity all have some type of IT in use and most people who work there are volunteers and like having someone around to help out with the IT afew hours a week. I did it at my local CAB, and they had an awful network setup, I changed it around to have a server, cloud storage, and any employee could access their files from anywhere, they loved it so much they gave me a huge recommendation and a small payout as a thank you. you will work hard but think long term. So volunteer, get networking with people, then work your ass off, worst thing when i do interviews and i ask what have they been doing, and they said "looking for jobs", if you can say "i did this, that, learnt this, went here etc" as an employer im thinking you'll be a hard worker and go looking for opportunities rather then the "oh im just looking for a job"
  11. It does it automatically if it doesn't detect a dedicated graphics card just make sure you install the drivers from amds site for the board , if I read your question right

  18. no worries ok lets start again, what are you pressing to get to the screen with the mouse? and when it get to the "select proper boot device" youve missed the time window which to put in a command like "del" or F12" so start again turn of computer, and tap "del" on the numberpad on the right side of your keyboard on the bottom row, tap that before you turn on the PC and keep tapping untill you get taken to a different screen, when youve done that message back and tell me what is on the screen ( if anything)
