  1. Could be a driver issue, when was the last time you updated them?
  2. What display connectors are you using to connect the monitors?
  3. I use a Laser mouse and have used various optical mice and I really don't think there is that much of a difference, if any. In my experience its not the type of thing that is going to hold you back, particularly in the FPS genre. I'd just make sure the mouse has the features, buttons, macro options, etc that you want, doesn't have significant input lag and is comfortable to use.
  4. SSDs used under normal loads should very easily last 3 years +, software like SSD Life and Crystal Disk Info can help to find out what condition ur drive is in, after 2 months of regular use it should be fine, Windows Experience Index isnt very reliable SSD Life: http://ssd-life.com/ Crystal Disk Info: http://crystalmark.info/software/CrystalDiskInfo/index-e.html
  5. SSD NAND Flash does degrade the more times you write to it, are you writing a lot of Large files to the drive regularly ie Fraps recordings etc.?
  6. I got an email from a Local computer store, apparently Haswell CPUs and motherboards will be available from June 2, at least in Australia. Might be different in other countries Online Version of the email: http://www.gcast.com.au/Public/gCast.aspx?blid=922da0dfb33446da9281f26a8acaea41
  7. Crysis 3 Multiplayer DLC Coming June 4 for $15, The DLC packs from Crysis 2 were $9.99 each, I think its going to be a very hard sell, might do more damage than good (splitting the user base) http://www.crysis.com/us/dlc http://www.polygon.com/2013/5/30/4379412/crysis-3-the-lost-island-multiplayer-dlc-release-date-price
  8. According to the Crysis Facebook Page there will be a 'special' announcement tomorrow Link: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151951684652501&set=a.434137077500.221745.301712412500&type=1
  9. One higher performance card is usually the best solution in 99% of cases, I like to think of it like this, if you have a car that seats 5 people but you need to seat 7, its a better idea to sell your smaller car and get a bigger car than get another 5 seater car and tape them together.
  10. Usually from 80-90, 90 in most games, some only support a maximum of 80 (Crysis 2, Crysis 3)
  11. Recently got a Nikon D3200 as an upgrade from my Sony CyberShot DSC-W350
  12. Its Multiplayer DLC, they have also shown a pictures of a new weapon, "the Claw" its currently in the game but unfinished, currently it has the scarab model and can only be forced server side Claw Sneak Peek (Claw vs SCAR) Informative video about C3 DLC
  13. I have multiple monitors so I use 2800 DPI for Windows/Web Browsing
  14. Based on the Video Title im guessing youtube isn't saving video privacy options, as there is probably still an embargo on GTX 780 videos
  15. Any standard (IEC/C13/C14) PC Power cable with an Australian power connector will work fine with that power supply
  16. I was watching a live stream not too long ago where they were talking about this, one point someone came up with is that in competitive multiplayer FPS games the female characters would probably have smaller hit boxes thus making them a harder target to hit.
  17. Probably a good place to start is the "Ultimate Water Cooling Guide" video series that Linus made for the NCIX youtube channel, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHNFhTAvvBA
  18. You can use a program called "RealTemp" to monitor CPU temperatures, you can setup an alarm temperature so you can know when its getting too hot. Anything 85C or higher is too hot. http://www.techpowerup.com/realtemp/
  19. I have a CM 690 II Advanced (Version 1, non USB 3) and I like it a lot, hard drive dock has come in handy many times. The CM 690 II has more USB ports on the front panel which may be important for you. I suppose the question is, do you want a HDD dock and more USB ports? If so then go for the 690 II Advanced, if not go for the 300R.
  20. On the Z77 (1155) motherboards when you populate a PCI-E x16 Physical Lane with one PCI-E x16 video card that card will get full x16 bandwidth from the CPU, if you add another video card to your system the bandwidth gets split in half for both cards, so the first video card gets x8 bandwidth and the second get x8 as well. That happens because the 1155 socket CPU's have a limit to the maximum PCI-E bandwidth it can provide. LGA 2011 CPUs have more PCI-E bandwidth and don't split to x8 and x8 with two video cards
  21. Here's another Battlefield 3 pic from quite a while ago, and yes he is dead.
  22. This might help, works with Windows Vista and 7 should work with 8, http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/
  23. I have a Nexus 7, great tablet, probably a bit small as a "book replacement". If I was in your position I'd consider buying a cheap Ultrabook or a "Thin and Light" notebook, it would make taking notes much easier.
