  1. Sadly yeah! The only thing I can see is a fresh install of windows. The only thing I saw online that I didn't try yet.
  2. I thought it was but I took longer. Took 2h of gaming. Still doing it
  3. Ok I will give it a try. Weird that it doesn't do that with my old 1070ti.
  4. Ok I will have to try that, you only deactivated the screen Turn off display setting? Like the one in the picture i attached to this reply?
  5. Hey everyone, I recently change my GPU from a 1070ti to a used 3060ti. Since I installed my new GPU (Asus TUF Gaming RTX 3060ti) when I'm gaming after 10 to 45 mins my computer screens goes black but i can still ear the sound. I have to manually reboot my computer. It only happens when i'm gaming. I tried uninstalling all the GPU drivers and install fresh drivers, that didn't change anything. I'm using Windows 11 Pro and all the updates are installed. If I put back my old Gigabyte Gaming 1070ti everything works good, no black screen. The last thing i didn't try is to keep my new 3060ti installed and do a fresh install of Windows 11. If you have any suggestion, feel free to share. Thanks in advance! Alex
  6. So I would daisy chain all my fans argb cable to the argb port you showed me. The power for the fan to control the speed I plug them on cha_fan headers around the motherboard I guess? I have my radiator at the top right now pushing air through the radiator and out of the case and my temps are good. It's more my gpu that I have issue with temps right now. With upgrading my case and fans I hope it will help my gpu's hotspot to go down from 105 degrees celcius. On my actual case if I want to be lower I open my side panel but I only go down to around 95 for the hotspot. My actual gpu temp is in the 70s but the hotspot is pretty high I found. My friend has the same gpu and is gpu temp is high 60s or low 70s and his hotspot is high 70s. It might be my gpu thermal pads that need to be change. It's still under warranty with Asus so I might ask for a RMA. If I change them my self I will lose the warranty I'm guessing. So for the fans I don't need a separate controler/hub device?
  7. Hey everyone, I'm switching my one year old setup to a new case with 6 new argb Artic P12 fans. My case will be the Corsair 4000D. My motherboard is a Asus B550-F Gaming. I attached my motherboard layout so you can see what headers I have. I would like to plug the 3 front fans (intake), 1 fan in the back (exhaust) and the 2 on my CPU cooler radiator (exhaust). How can I plug all those fans and have access to control all of them, rpm and lighting? The front one will always be the same speed and probably the same color, so might be easier. But if there's a way I can individually control all my fans I would be happy. For sure the CPU fan I want them to go with the CPU temperature but still want to be able to control the lighting. Will I need a controller, a hub or something else in that setup? How would you plug everything? I'm open to suggestions. Would you use the application of the motherboard for the lighting effect(Aura Sync), Corsair Icue, or something else? Thanks in advance!
  8. OK perfect thank you very much. Finally I decided to buy a new case, a Corsair 4000D and 6 new fans. Just a little question if you would know, I have one argb header on my motherboard that I know of. If I want to plug 6 fans so I can control all of them. Is it possible just with that header? I guess if I put a certain color it will be the same everywhere. What would I need so I can control all my fan speed and colors? A hub, controller or something else? My 2 fans on my radiator will also be argb so not sure if my CPU fan header can control argb fans? I also want my CPU fans to check the CPU temp and not go at the same speed as all the other case fans. Trying to figure out how to plug all 6 fans. Here's my motherboard layout below.
  9. They are not on 100% all the time, not often. Even if I out them all at 100%, doesn't change much the gpu temps, maybe 1-2 degrees. My front fans are connected to my case switch instead of my motherboard. So I will probably change that, put them on the motherboard to have more control. So I should have the side fan as an intake to push air on my gpu? Or it will interrupt the flow from the front to the back/top? I will change the back one to a 140mm air flow fan and what kind of 140mm fans should I get for the front if I keep my filter on? I feel the difference in air flow from the front if I put my filter on, less air coming in. Any fans that you would recommend? Should I use a fan controler?
  10. Hey thanks for all this information, I really appreciate it. Budget is not a problem, so I could get good quality fans. I'm running a water cooler and my radiator only fits 120mm fans on it, so I have 2 on it as exhaust. My CPU seems fine it's around 45 degrees celsius. When I open my side panel my GPU temp goes down 6-7 degrees and my hotspot around 10 degrees lower. But my cousin got the same GPU and while playing the same game and graphic settings, he's around 60 (gpu temp) and 70ish (hotspot). Doesn't have the same setup has me. So even with my side panel off I find my GPU way higher than is. So if I keep this case I should add static pressure fans or hybrid fans where I have filters and on my water cooler radiator. All the other spot I put air flow 140mm fans?
  11. I just switched from a Gigabyte GTX 1070ti to a Asus TUF RTX 3060ti and I'm having the same issue. Me and my friend bought them from a person that did mining for less than a year and they were under volted. My friends GPU is in a PCIe 3.0 and I'm in a PCIe 4.0 if it makes a difference. He's fine with hotspot temp between 65 and 75 degrees celsius while I'm at 105. We are both playing the same game.
  12. Hey everyone, I was just wondering was you guys would do for fan placement in my Fractal Design Define R5 case. I just switched from a Gigabyte GTX 1070ti to a Asus TUF RTX 3060ti and my hotspot gets to 105 degrees celcius. My GPU temp stay between 70 and 80 degrees celcius. https://www.fractal-design.com/products/cases/define/define-r5/black/ I attached a picture of the fan spots of the case also. Like you can see on the screenshot, I have a filter in the front and at the bottom. Should I use static pressure fans for those? My fans are all 6-7 years old corsair fans, I don't remember the model. In the front I have 2 x 140mm (intake) not static pressure one, 1 x 120mm on the side panel (intake), 1 x 120mm in the back (exhaust), 2 x 120mm on my CPU aio cooler radiator (exhaust). I find I get a good amount of dust build up also. Should I put 2 x 140mm static pressure on the front of the case because of the filter? Is the side fan necessary, should I put it as an exhaust instead of intake? Would it be better to have a 140mm instead of a 120mm in the back for an exhaust? Should I had some 120mm at the bottom of the case? I saw some post about repasting my GPU also, but I wanted to try to have the best airflow as possible in my case also. Thanks to everyone in advance!
  13. I have the same GPU and PSU and didn't have that issue before. How do you find out which one it would be?
  14. Hello, I purchased the new Battlefield 2042 and saw that my CPU was always at 100% usage and my GPU(GTX 1071ti) only around 35% usage. So I decided it was time to change the CPU and some other parts. I put my new parts together today and when I start Battlefield 2042, I get to the menu my Pc restarts right away. It used to work with my old parts. I tried BF5 and I'm not having the issue, I can get to the menu. I will try to play BF5 tomorrow to see if something happens. When I start Battlefield I get to the menu and my PC reboots. When I had my old CPU, motherboard, RAM and SSD I was able to play no problem. You can see my old parts on my LTT profile. My new parts are the following: - Ryzen 7 5800x - G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit (F4-3200C16D-16GVKB) - ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming AMD AM4 (3rd Gen Ryzen) ATX gaming motherboard - WD Black SN750SE 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 2280 Read:3600MB/s,Write: 2830MB/s SSD (WDS100T1B0E) I check my temps of my CPU and GPU and everything is fine. I did a stress test with AIDA on my CPU and at 100% it gets to max 65c. Also did a stress test on my GPU and it doesn't get higher than before (Around 63c). I after stress test the CPU and GPU at the same time and everything is fine no crash and good temps. Nothing is overclocked for now, didn't change anything in the BIOS either. My GPU driver is also up to date. I told my self it's probably not that the game is not installed properly because it reboots the whole computer and not just the actual game. I don't think it's my PSU (EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750W 80 Plus Gold) that's not strong enough, unless I'm mistaken. I don't think my new motherboard and CPU pull that much more power than my old ones. It really sucks, really wanted to test this new setup with Battlefield 2042. If you have any questions feel free to ask me. Hopefully someone can help me with this. Thanks in advance guys!
  15. I will wait for the GPU prices to go down
