It scares me how my people think they are safe behind their VPN when the company is based under the jurisdiction of Five Eyes, Nine Eyes & 14-Eyes, which honestly defeats the purpose of using one..Although that kinda depends on your threat level. with that being said if the companies falls under the jurisdiction they can be forced to provide logs, and they don't even have to inform you.

    I thought the point was being able to show you're somewhere else. Essentially just tricking your ISP.

    This isn't a Blackphone or something.

    like I said it depends on your threat level, and what your using your VPN for., in my opinion that's not really the main point of a VPN. Maybe for more basic users or just general users. But there are hundreds upon thousands, if not millions of people who use it for tons of other reasons.
