  1. Name changes are done on a case-by-case basis and is not a normal practice. By all means, if you require a name change, please do contact us but not all requests will result in a name change.
  2. I would build now, always remember that, even if new products get released next week, what you buy today will not suddenly become obsolete..
  3. Depends how much you're looking to spend really. Mechanicals will offer better build quality and as such you would expect them to last longer; however, they come at a cost- and if you feel like you will hit things with it, then it may not be in your best interests to buy simply for economical reasons. That said, if you're going to spend more on a well-built Membrane board then it may just be better to spend that little bit more and get a mechanical.
  4. One of these would be fine, but there are others that you can find for cheaper.
  5. Is the card or CPU overclocked? If so, to what extent? Have you touched the settings of anything - in particular, the CPU voltages or GPU voltages?
  6. I moved your other thread for you. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/100414-how-do-i/#entry1343504
  7. Hidden comments relating to nothing but that meme. Unless you have something useful to say, please do not just post memes.

  9. It's obviously a mistake and clearly not intentional. This has happened multiple times before and has been fixed in the coming days, if not hours.

  13. I'm shutting this down. I'm not sure how many of you watched the WAN Show this week; however, i strongly urge you guys to. If only for this part: If you don't want to watch it, then i will summarise: - Parts of the forum (particularly Audio Sub-forum) are straying away from the core values of the site (i've highlighted the most important ones). It is threads like this which only go to extend this perception of some members as being elitist, condescending and down right rude. If you don't like someone's opinion, fine - don't agree with them; but by no means start a flame war on who is better, or who knows more. This forum was set up for everyone to have a pleasant experience and at the moment, in this sub-forum at least, this is not being met. The environment here is highly hostile and is not welcoming at all. If someone gets something wrong, don't go out of your way to point it out to boost your own ego; perhaps offer an alternative. This isn't survival of the fittest, it's a forum made for people to come and ask questions and incite mature and well argued discussion, not to get a torrent of abuse thrown at them because of their views, what they bought, or what they do.
  14. Let's not start (another) flame war of 'fanboyism'. This is straight forward question and doesn't need the baggage of "Intel vs AMD". Bottom line is that both CPUs are fantastic: looking at reviews, the 3570K would seem to perform better overall; however, i doubt you will really notice a difference between the two in terms of real use. If power consumption and heat is something you are worried about (small case, little ventilation etc) then perhaps the 3570K would be the better option as the 83X0 does run a little warmer. That said, the 8320, as suggested previously, offers very good price to performance and comes in significantly cheaper than the i5 and would also be more than sufficient for gaming.

    bit rate?

I've hidden a couple posts which had nothing to do with the title or topic at hand. Please keep to topic regarding Bit rate and not some other forum politics. Thanks.
  16. Please only make one thread per topic. I have locked your other threads pertaining to the same question and requested that you post here instead. Thanks.
  17. Was just looking at that haha. Looks good and would seem to fit fine on the Z87N-Wifi as Kang suggested. Many thanks guys!
