  1. Yeah, you are right, Im just scared if the product would be decent since its a used product, or that the product if damaged somehow the return policies would be drastic and such.

  4. Hey everyone, I built my high end pc somewhat 8 years ago and with little modifications, such as changing the SSD's or the graphics cards and stuff, it worked fine until now. Recently, my motherboard just gave out but the rest of the components including the processor and other parts are good to go. Since its an old chipset model with LGA 1150 socket support I know it would be tough to get one, and no I'm not particularly looking to build a new high end pc right now since the other components are ok. I can't even sell the old components like that without making a huge huge loss. I know its an old chipset model, but i can't even find a good source for a second hand one either. any ideas? I had a ASUS Z97A with intel i7 4790k processor with dual corsair 8gb*2 RAM's with heatsink and H100i liquid coolers. It has suffied 650watt gold rated psu and 4 GB of windforce power GPU 960ti. Here's the main issue, if i had to buy a new / used asus Z97A or a similar, ( maximus 7 ROG hero / MSI Z97 Gaming 5 / Gigabyte GA Z97X Gaming 5 ) I have been suggested to get a Gigabyte GA-H81M-S = No way am i getting that much of a downgrade. any leads? any thoughts? anyone have them from whom i could get one? Willing to pay shipping.
  5. Here's another funny thing that i just discovered. its working fine with a private window from mozilla firefox.. But not from the regular mode. Emptied cache, cookies. Everything. nothing works
  6. Hey guys, Don't know if others are experiencing this or not. But from about 4 days ago. I'm facing a great peril. It seems that When I turn on my pc and open up google and make a search, as the instant search feature's on for me. its coming about fine. But when i close that tab and open another google tab both on my mozilla firefox. I'm unable to search anything as no search results appear for any phrase. Refreshing doesn't help. Rebooting the system doesn't help either. Not a router problem either. Other sites are loading instantly as usual, just google. And the funny thing is that google's responding quite great as the website's fine but when i make a search its going wacko... The only extensions i have in firefox are : Ad Block Plus and Zenmate that's it... No themes, nothing. What do i do? and how do i cure it? I've attached some screenshots as reference to this awkward topic.

I am catching up, soon I will be the 5th bigges…

True True. Just upgraded my pc as well.! loving it. :D
  8. For that I'd be needing a molex connector... mmm alright. mm. lets see what happens, you think that'll work?
  9. That I haven't. mm. checking it. ) probably would work because the fan's are all running so yeah.
  10. I just upgraded my system to these configs: *Intel i7 4790k *Corsair H100i *650W psu Corsair *Nvidia Gigabyte G1 gaming 4GB DDR5 gtx 960 *Asus Z97A *16 giggs of Corsair Vengeance DDR3 *Thermaltake Chaser MK-I Basically, after setting it all up, I seem to be having one problem. At the store when they set it up everything including the fan led's were working great. and I set it up at home just now a few minutes ago and both the fans are running great, The front fan LED's working great as well but the side mesh panel fan which is another 200mm although working fine the led's not working somehow. The front fan LED's working fine but the side panel one isn't. Both are 200mm fan's btw. Tried different fan headers, still the same outcome so far. It's got a 3pin connector and connected to the bottom "CHA FAN 2" port on the motherboard. Where have I gone wrong? Because it was working fine on the store just a couple hours ago. Not a manufacturing problem, maybe a issue with my setup maybe? Help would be great guys, I adore you all.! Cheers.!
  11. I did try other fan headers but didn't work either. The fan's are working just fine but the led's not unfortunately. I'm sure that its not a product disability though because it worked on the store completely as long as they ran it without any issues, maybe something with my setup,? dont know, feel free to suggest. ) According to the BIOS they're spinning at around 2200, as they were on the store. So, I don't really suspect that's a power consumption error. I did set the fan's to high performance and low to check if that'll make any difference, It didn't, so yeah. feel free to suggest. )

  13. Its got a fair amount of airflow and you'd liquid cool the processor which would give the benefit of an absolute 4.0+ghz and overclock would be even more so better. Amd produces too much heat output to be honest and power consumption as well, as well as their graphics cards like the r9 380 or others. they're very loud. I believe that it'd be very quiet and liquid cooling would help alot. but i suggest not going for liquid cooling on the GPU instead go for air cooling on that part. The case is very transaparent and has alot of room as well, well organized very quiet. ultimately its on you . ) But yeah. you know what I suggested.
  14. How about a wapping Corsair 760T.? its neat. its quiet its flexible its full tower its really nice... and how about an intel 4790k.?
  15. I'd actually suggest contacting the people you bought it from and asking for a refund or to solve this situation. because its within your warranty and take back policy hopefully still. don't need any card with errors right?
  16. interesting what you pointout here. very interesting indeed. yeah. i think antec or the current vs 550 is good to go . so yeah. lets see what the store offers and hope i get a good one ahha.
  17. Then definitely with nepton then. What do you think about the psu.? The only product companies i have available are amongst : "Antec", "Coolermaster" and "Corsair" which do i go for?
  18. It's because these two are only available for me at the moment at the price tag. Plus Noctua isn't shipped here so. But yeah, will look into that model too. Want the best liquid cooling low temps for the processor as possible.
  19. I'm near about ready to make a purchase of this entire rigg, just having a bit of concern about the liquid cooling and the psu. Lets concentrate on the liquid coolers. I have these two rated high available. what do you think? Motherboard- ASUS Z97C Processor- Intel i7 4790k PSU- Corsair VS550 Liquid Cooling- Corsair CPU cooler H110 ????? RAM- Corsair Vengeance 8GB*2 DDR3 1866 FSB Cabinet- Corsair 760T (Black) HDD- WD 2TB external GPU- Gigabyte Geforce GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 Mouse- Corsair M45 optical gaming mouse Coolermaster Seidon 240m vs Coolermaster Nepton 240m.... showdown guys. who's better than who? As much as you'd like. Love all the info's and thanks for the support guys and girls. Love you all. Really I do.. haha. P.S: Hope you're enjoying San Diego Comicon 2015
  20. I infact had the very same question just yesterday. see it here. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/403343-nvidia-gtx-970-asus-or-gigabyte-cant-decide/
  21. sounds about right. you're build is good. Good job. yeah. but if you plan on installing alot of applications then the hdd makes sense otherwise keep it external, would show alot more performance from the pc.
  22. I recommend an ASUS Z97C .. works good as god bios. maybe a bit less of fan headers but overall a good bang for buck motherboard. tell us what are available so we could help you choose better.
