  1. I know why you guys do the titles and thumbnails you do, but could you at least put the name of the product in the title?
  2. I have, but I don't have very high hopes. The laptop isn't in warranty, and I brought it second hand.
  3. I have a Metabox branded Clevo P650SE with a failing right hinge, as well as a crack in the screen bezel as a result of this. I was wondering if anyone was aware of somewhere I could buy replacements for these parts? Mostly the bezel, I think I've found a couple of places selling hinges. Edit: I'm in Australia.
  4. Nothing in that article says that they'd fine a school for using a pirated/unactivated version. Anyway, it's most likely that it's just screwed up enterprise/education licensing, not a pirated version.
  5. The simple fact is that if you're careful you won't get a virus. I've been using windows defender for ages and I haven't ever had one. If you're doing things that give you a high risk of getting malware then you should get something better though.
  6. People have been saying stuff about the english language declining due to slang terms since forever. Just like everything else, they'll pass out of popular use in a few years, and the people using "bae" etc right now will be complaining about how the new slang is ruining the english language.
  7. I have to say I don't think any in Australia do that.
  8. What kind of uni makes you buy a particular laptop?
  9. I just use the standard windows antivirus/firewall, with malwarebites for scanning. I'm of the opinion that the best virus protection is simply being careful about what you download. I've been doing this for a long time and I've never had a virus.
  10. It wasn't actually a galaxy note, it was a different Samsung phone. There weren't any warnings or anything. Seriously, is there any for the correction to be stickied to the top of the thread, or can @Djole123 edit his title with the correction?
  11. Are you in high school? You really just need to take what you're given, your school probably has the PC's they have the budget for.
  12. It'll ask you when you click recover. If you need any more help with recuva let me know, I have some experience using it to recover from formatted drives.
  13. Get a GTX 1060 or RX 480 instead of the GTX 970, they have better performance.
  14. That's what I'd recommend. Are you doing a deep scan? Also make sure you don't recover the files onto the drive you're recovering them from.
