  1. cheers guys thanks for the help i will definitely need it!
  2. Hi guys i have been playing games for ever on my old desktop but after discovering steam i have been disappointed with the power of the machine. I have a budget of 1400AUD (Australian Dollars) give or take maybe 45. I was just wondering if this build is efficient in its budgeting of components and choice of components PCPartPicker part list: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/tk3kKZ Price breakdown by merchant: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/tk3kKZ/by_merchant/ CPU: Intel - Core i5-7500 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($279.00 @ Umart) Motherboard: Asus - STRIX H270F GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($195.00 @ Umart) Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($179.00 @ Umart) Storage: Samsung - 750 Evo 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($189.00 @ Umart) Video Card: Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB WINDFORCE OC 6G Video Card ($369.00 @ Shopping Express) Case: Corsair - 100R ATX Mid Tower Case ($68.00 @ Shopping Express) Power Supply: Silverstone - Strider Platinum 550W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($139.00 @ Umart) Other: Windows 10 ($50.00) Total: $1468.00 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2017-06-05 18:22 AEST+1000
  3. Thank you so much for your suggestions i will definatly go with this build but maybe change the case for one around a similar price range. But other than that your suggestions were awesome as you made me realise i was over spending on other things like the power supply and peripherals and that money could be spent else where. P.S for voltage on the ram does that warning on the pc part picker list really mean anything or is it just a recommended voltage? Thanks so much
  4. Yeah i already have monitors and a good microphone (Blue Yeti Blackout) also the $45 mouse pad is just a suggestion or a max total budget same with the windows 10 suggestion and i have a hard drive from another system,
