  1. 4G depends on the place, For gaming it should be just fine. I had a 4G line until just recently and it was really good,When a option for a better landline appeared i got that instead as i needed it for streaming, However the 4G option was not bad at all, infact it was both stable and fast, and imo just as a good as a landline for everything but streaming. Your connection most likely suffers from local wireless troubles (aka 2.4 Gigahertz, and so on), it is very common for those types of connection to be unstable and bad, try with a cable from you router to your ps4. Most likely you 4g connection is great and it's your routers wi-fi wich sucks.
  2. A idea is to ask apple, they might have a spy-antenna wich is able to turn it on and make it do a sound. /Sorry, im a apple hater, i can't always suppress it. On a more serious note, When first it's off, You just have to look around for it, Take a break from looking, and do a little cleaning or something, your mind will suddenly remember where you put it most likely.
  3. Alright so ,i exchanged the board now to a Sabertooth as per @Benji_w's suggestion ,It seems i was suffering from multiple problems, firstly i had some BSOD's. I trobleshooted them, and it seems one ram stick was faulty..I changed it and had only had one BSOD since then. And it seems the system is stable overall with the new board. And i get a temprature for both the CPU and the mainboard with HWmonitor now. i have not run extensive test's yet but i will at sometime. (mainboard do seem to reflect the general temperature of the heatsink on the board. The guy who should help me did come around with a Multi meter but it was out of batteries, and due to workload, we never got around to it, i lost the r390, so, the load should not matter anyway. I DO have a nasty problem with booting, sometimes the system will boot and simply drop dead, after this it just boot up normally, i have made a new "appointment" with the him about looking at the PSU, And it seems my watercooling setup is not sufficient. i got a new case for my pc(might already have told this), and it's on my desktop and is more noisy. i used quite a bit of money on the new motherboard, and as such im now considering pulling the plug on doing anything else on this pc and just save up for building a entire new PC. Building a new loop with a new rad and block might be a option but my pump is now contaminated from the old loop so... I think building a new loop might be the way, still have some tube around, and the Vario pump can be cleaned, if i do it correctly. I use a silver stick as a kill coil BTW, seems to work okay so far.
  4. @Benji_w Im going to cave in, im going to have a Multimeter tomorrow to check the PSU, if it turns out to be good, i will change the motherboard, I looked over the Asus board, and it does seem it supports it, It still have a small * Saying special thermals required, however if this means i will have the hell with the Vregs again, im going to cry, So, im going to ask Asus support if the board will actually work with it's own passive cooling on the Vreg's otherwise it seems a moot point. (my logic is sound here right?). The board(Chassis/Cabinet) im using now have 3 fans sucking air out, and a fan in the bottom of the case sucking air in, and a front wich is basically full of holes, and two intakes in the side panel in the front (Zalman Z11 Plus High performance case), im getting slow boots now too, and very rarely i get BSOD's, so, if the PSU returns good results (not broken), and provided Asus gives the green light on the Vreg cooling, im changing boards. Thanks for you help and patience , i just don't wanna fight with this PC anymore, so my next investment must be the last and best one.
  5. So. Ive looked trough the manuals ect. Fatal1ty 970 Performance/3.1 http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/Fatal1ty%20970%20Performance3.1/?cat=CPU http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/Fatal1ty%20970%20Performance3.1/?cat=Specifications Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2 https://www.asus.com/dk/Motherboards/SABERTOOTH_990FX_R20/specifications/ https://www.asus.com/dk/Motherboards/SABERTOOTH_990FX_R20/HelpDesk_CPU/ To be honest, The Fatal1ty, Seems just as good as the Sabertooh R2 Or Better. @Benji_w Did you ever run your board without watercooling the Vrams?, with a 9590?. You might have seen the same temps from your other posts it does not seem you have tried this. Since you overclocked your FX8350 @ 5GHz you properly use the same amount but it seems logical that you would watercool your Vreg's to achieve this. the ONLY thing that seems to swing in the sabertooths favor is the E.S.P (Efficient Switching Power Design). i know the Asrock did not survive the review, but how the hell did he manage that?, it has "ASRock Full Spike Protection". please point out any logic flaws or points i could have missed, also, Beji your Vrams are watercooled. to be honest i think that is the difference. My CPU is not too hot. my logic is based as such speedfan reads from the motherboard, and the motherboard reads from BOTH the CPU and the Vrams, and reports the higher temprature. This makes sense as this will prevent a CPU meltdown in case of Vreg's tempratures getting way out of hand. Both Core Temp and CPUID reports low CPU temprature and full core speed 4.7 Ghz. However speedfan reports a different temprature up to 80 degrees where the speed will drop to 1,4. and the voltage drops to 0.8v on cores and the speedfan temprature will drop and the speed rise for around 10 seconds and the voltage drops together with speed. Both Both core temp and CPUID reports full support for DTS. whereas Speedfan does not. http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/howitworks.html It is kinda hard to find information on DTS but it seems the general consensus is it's very reliable. Also, On the backside of the motherboard the CPU backplate is just as cool as the CPU-block itself, and just to side of the backplate (where the Vreg's solders are, the board is hot as F'CK, would properly say around 80C, the same temperature as speedfan reports. Also Nena360 you have had very good input on this thread too so il highlight you too.
  6. Still here, Still working on the problem, 99% it's the Vreg's now. i got a new case with more airflow, and it helped, and setting the clock to 4Ghz. but still.
  7. Im still here, WC is kinda expensive, so im trying a new approch, i bought a very nice cabinet for 75$ including shipping. The Zalman Z11 Plus. There might still be a problem with the lenght of the video card, but il figure that out, right now i just need to get the beast cooled, my current GPU seems sufficent for the games i run. im still here, just not solved the problem yet.
  8. @Benji_w It seems the 8+2Phase design on the Fatal1ty Performance are not really 8+2 but 4+1 or something like that. Im not sure how those design specs are suposed to be but pretending something is something else that it actually is, is rarely a good sign. i just want to be sure that the Sabertooth actually is REAL 8+2.
  9. Thanks, Il need to postpone the expense as my pump decided to die, and it sounded like it was going to blow up, so im on borrowing a pc right now, so. Im not sure this board actually is so bad, Asus dosn't seem much better, but theres some info going around about the digi+ VRM's i need to look at.ks f Also, thanks about the...currious offer, but im not trading CPU's i like challenges anyways
  10. @Dabobminable, In that case my board actually seems better, since it actually supports 220 watt, But that it does require cooling. I just don't have the proper cooling setup. as stated by their webpage. However the Asus TUF series have exstra cooling with the ceramics and all and all, But im still a little worried, since that guy burned his board out.(same type as mine). something is a little odd here. My board seems better. I don't know if the ceramics is just a gimmick or actually useful for cooling the board, Also if the Asus board only supports 140W, there is a long way up to 220W, i know there is a lot of users with good experiences inhere with the board and the lower CPU's. But have anyone run a Asus board with a 9590FX?
  11. Im not undervolting, and only underclocking it slighly. And i wan't the motherboard to take care of the cooling. btw, in case of the sabertooth. SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 FX-9590(FD9590FHW8KHK, 4.7GHz, 8C, L3:8M, 220W,rev.C0,AM3+) Due to the high TDP, please be noted there are limitations while using this CPU(i.e. special thermal required..) fair nuff, but, Where is this cooling required?, Chipset?, CPU?, VRM's? It seem's like im replacing a board that requires alot of cooling with a board that have the exact same problem, (at least that's what im fearing). im currently looking at the manual for the board too see if i can find out where this cooling is required, if it's the CPU no probs already got that covered. well, im bummed out. This says 220W support. While this does not, i know it's not the exact same motherboad, but i can't find a motherboard on the US website that supports 220W CPU's. . /sadface. http://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/SABERTOOTH_990FXGEN3_R20/specifications/ Well. i don't get it. Here it says it supports 9590 CPU http://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/SABERTOOTH_990FXGEN3_R20/specifications/ however it only supports 140W. wat?
  12. Update: Ive been having BSOD,'s suddenly for some time now, Mostly when running OBS. It seems AMD have a buggy driver that crashes when OBS hooks into the the display, Ive not noticed BSOD when not running OBS. At least OBS dev's states that OBS only run in userspace and not does anything with the kernel. So, Does not know if this is true. So,It seems just that my Motherboard sucks, and that the rest of the PC is fine. Im currently testing power consumption with prime95. Still at 4GHz, But it seems i might rule out the PSU as a point of failure at least. onlt that it can't power both my 9590 and my R9-390 at the same time. (still not in my PC, want my CPU stable first.), So. But it seems i might finally soon mark this as solved, A new board will properly finally fix my issues. The sabertooth and the Formula Seems like good boards for 9590.
  13. that would be at least semi decent, and a refund, however dosn't look like it from thier webpage. http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/Fatal1ty%20970%20Performance/ "Supports 220W AMD FX 9590 & 9370 CPUs This ASRock motherboard supports AMD FX 9590 & 9370 CPUs which delivers up to eight cores of unlocked performance, massive overclocking headroom, plus a thermal design power of 220W." http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/Fatal1ty%20970%20Performance/?cat=CPU However This board is complete bullshit. i have 2 fans blowair air on it, and the big one is a 35CFM fan, and then ive added the secondary one, the small one, (threw out the 80mm fan the noise was horrible). I beleive you in the packing, That would be the only decent thing to do. However those liars still have it on the website. i think im going to try calling them and require a explanation. [edit] btw i ran memtest on only one core, and it did 3 passes with no errors, and when i had more cores running it threw memory errors almost instantly. im almost sure it's the motherboard, im still not using my R9-390 as i think the load would be too much. So im going for a new motherboard next month, that way i can at least get a stable PC. i can not describe how disappointed i am in ASrock.
  14. @Benji_w Im testing ram today, Unfortunately, i ruined the fan that hold my system together, but i might have found a better solution with another fan, Or not, or solution more fans!, At least the new fan does not make as much noise as the old one. But But Damn, is this board bad. This fan meets the boards requirements in terms of CFM http://www.quietpc.com/nf-s12-800 it hangs from the outside together with another old fan. Sorry for the cropped file, but i had to remove parts of the image to get the filesize under 2Mb, Anyhow, This was stable, but i had browser windows open which does not stress the CPU as much as prime95 and Windows takes CPU time away from Prime95, As soon as i closed the browsers as i realised this, the temperature spiked to at least 68 where i stopped prime95, and the temprature fell instantly . so im going to downclock the CPU in UEFI, and then run memtest86 at a slower speed , But F***, This board is bad, i seriously doubt anyone have had a 9590 running in this board, even with a "topdown heatsink", Fatality Gaming shit my ass, Holy F this board is shit. so unless my thermal paste is bad and dosn't work so my loop can't get the heat and then get off with it i will say to anyone if you have ordered a Fata1ly "performance" board (3.1), or just the normal one, return it at once, this board is SHIT. and remember this is AFTER i have booted into windows where my downclock to 4Ghz takes effect. yes that's right 4Ghz = 68Celcius and properly even more but the 9590 safe temp is max 70, and i like at least 10C headroom, so not over 60. [EDIT]Jesus i even splurged on this board as i wanted a good board for my 9590, *spits on it*(the board), i just had to say it once more. The box is plasterd with 220Watt CPU support and 9000 CPU series support. But unless you buy a topdown fan that run's over 9000 RPM's i don't beleive it. Sjadghklsadjghæaaj ....
