I've officially sold my last working Opteron quad socket server, leaving me with only 1 broken one which I've poured 20+ hours labor into trying to fix that even Dell doesn't understand what the problem is with. All the money went directly into more computer and motorcycle parts...

    2U Machines, still kinda a bloweymatron but not as bad as you might think. I always wear headphones, so the sound never bothered me, even when at 100% cpu load mining crypto.

    Ha, unfortunately It costs over $100 to ship the server as its very large and heavy, and if i parted with just the fan then I'd never get the server working again (and its still full of valuable parts I have yet to sell). One of these days when I got the time I'll try an get it working again to do some cool home server stuff, maybe like caching steam games like Linus did in a recent video for when friends come over.
