  1. Hi there. I just build a new PC for my brothers last week. The problems start when they start playing game. The framerate I got is incredibly low for the hardware I put in. The spec are as follow. CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 (Stock cooler) GPU: GTX 1070ti MB: Steel legend B450 PSU: 750 watt gold Monitor: 1080p 240hz w/ G-sync Here is result, Solution I've tried and me running out of idea of what's to fix. In Valorant I've got on average 120 fps on everything on low with frame occasional frame drop to around 50 fps. For CSGO on everything on low I also got around 180 fps on average, Apex legend I've got around 100 fps. Every game with V-sync off. Window lasted version, Newest Nvidia driver and AMD Chipset firmware installed. When I check with Task Manager, MSI Afterburner, Zotac GPU software all of these software reported around 30-50% usage on CPU and 20-50% utilization on GPU only. I tried set Power option to Maximum, Ultimate power and it helps a bit. I tried swapping GPU to another computer with Ryzen 3 4350 and the problem is still here. This 2 PC run on Window home installed from the same thumbstick and logged in to the same account. Even with Aorus 1080ti, this computer refuse to utilize both GPU and CPU to it's potential and fps is almost the same as 1070ti in every game. I know that this card can run better than this because this Zotac 1070ti used to be paired with Intel i5 8600 and every game I've mentioned above run smoother with higher fps on 1440p than the current setup with 1080p. I can only force GPU and CPU to run above 80% in Benchmark and mining (I don't mine, I just wanted to see if the PSU limits the available power and maybe that's why it can't run at 100%) Have I done something wrong during a window installation process? Are there any setting I must change? Please, I have reinstall window on 4350 one once already and it improved nothing. I have no idea what's to change anymore. If you need any information please, I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you. Ake-danai P.S. English is not my first language. Sorry for my poor English.
  2. I think there is a different between Pixel and Surface. True that Pixel should be a representation of what Android is. I just think that with phone with that status it should have latest CPU not the mid-tier one. Surface wasn't really "How window supposed to run" but more like good alternative hardware for window to run on.
  3. Yea, and I think they should keep it that way. Riley said he wanted Pixel to be mid-tier, and when asked why don't you get the A he said "I don't like it" and Pixel should stop try to compete with Apple. I just don't know if there is a reason to that.
  4. From the latest episode of TechLinked, Riley said that he wanted mid-tier Pixel phone. But as James has said, "That's what Pixel a is for". And I totally agree. Pixel is somewhat a developer phone. To give developer a mid-tier hardware and that's wasn't meant to cover the future, I think is a wrong move. Riley also said "Stop compete with Apple", but I think that's totally what Pixel is for. The flagship of Android. I don't think most people would agree with Riley here but I have no idea. When asked why he didn't go for Pixel a, Riley said "I don't like it". So that doesn't explain much. I think most people would agree with James that Pixel should be flagship, but I could be wrong. So I wonder what you guys think? Do you think 1) Pixel should be a mid-tier phone 2) Pixel should keep flagship status and why? Thanks
  5. BTW, Do you think I should run it in Window or Linux?
  6. That is very interesting actually. Thank you very much!!
  7. Hi I'm looking to build PC for plugging in to my living room TV. This PC will mostly be use for. Streaming media from NAS (h.264, h.265, REMUX, etc.) Streaming game (Stream in-home streaming, Nvidia game stream) Thus, the CPU must be powerful enough to decode those video format. What's your recommendation for. CPU? OS? Specific software? Maybe Pre-build system (NUC, Nvidia Shield TV)? Thank you very much for your recommendation.
  8. Thank you! About the performance side of thing. I'm more concern about the fact that GPU is fan if facing right up again the window. I think PCIE distance does not have any affect on performance as you said.
  9. Hello everyone. I'm interested by the look of vertical mounted GPU, but I have some doubt. Case: NZXT h500i GPU: ZOTAC 1070Ti There is a slot for mounting GPU vertically ready Does it effect performance by any chance? If so by how much? My friend warn me about PCIE extender fried motherboard and GPU itself. How rare is that? Any recommendation for good PCIE extender? (I don't think I need special mounting bracket like the one's Cable Mods have?) Thank you in advance. P.S. I apologize for poor gramma. English is not my first language.
