  1. Best thing about the G3 is the screen resolution.
  2. Linus said he is going to upload a YouTube video on the latest WAN show. I remember that it interested me and he said it would be up by Tuesday. I don't see any interesting videos from Linus released this week. What video was he referring to? I forget.
  3. Compare this: to this: Doesn't the older version look cooler or is it just me?
  4. You don't really have much choice in terms of distros with Chromebooks. AFAIK, you can only run ChrUbuntu or run crouton (which is also Ubuntu). I personally run crouton since it shares the same kernel with ChromeOS. Edit: Apparently, you can run Elementary OS. I haven't really looked too much since I'm currently happy but it is good to see other options other than Ubuntu.
  5. I have a HP Chromebook 14. I wouldn't recommend it though; I think it's one of the older models. Keyboard is pretty good but the trackpad is terrible and battery life is only 4 hours. Luckily, the trackpad seems to work better in Linux and battery life is actually more than enough for my usage.
  6. I personally bought mine for $200 for school. I can't stand the crappy ChromeOS so I just installed Ubuntu and it's been working great. Make sure you get the ones with a x86 CPU if you want to install Linux and run Windows apps via WINE.
  7. URL: http://linustechtips.com/main/page/index.html Edit: I'm an idiot.
  8. Link: http://linustechtips.com/main/store Warning: don't buy if you don't want the product. They implemented the purchasing code so you will actually purchase the product if you click buy.
  9. It's not Razer Comms as he said in the stream. So skype?
  10. There's no source. This entire news post is a lie designed to track you and show ads to you.
  11. Yep, I made the same prediction a couple of months ago. Honestly, at this point, it's not even a prediction. It's inevitable. In 20 or so more, everything will be streamed. When this becomes a reality, piracy will die and high-end CPUs/graphics cards will die (because you're streaming - not rendering).
