I would also recommend trying a different SATA port on your motherboard, different SATA cable, and I know it's gonna sound bizarre, but try a different power supply if you can. Had one die on me not too long ago and the only sign was that it wasn't powering my mech drive enough to spin at full speed, so Windows kept crashing due to the slower than expected speed.

Agree fully on this. I have a 970 and it is *not* aging super gracefully, unlike my R9 290 which still holds its own pretty damn well.

All you need to do is (unless I'm mistaken) delete the partitions and just recreate one to install the OS. The installer will create other necessary partitions for you.

I believe the official Windows 10 Netflix app supports 21:9 but the app is really awful.

Not underpowered for normal consumer (think Apple consumers here, not us prosumers, so more web-browsers and photographers/coders)

Have to disagree, Windows 7 DOES NOT RUN VERY WELL on 2GB of ram. It'll run, but not well (unless you disable literally every single animation and WinAero)

Best $180-$200 motherboards
Its_Twitchyy replied to Bubba200's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Great board, had no issues with it in the ~1.5 months that I've had it, however I haven't had time to try out overclocking quite yet. -
Best $180-$200 motherboards

I have the ASUS Z170-A and it sounds like exactly what you're looking for. Black+White Scheme with a hint of Blue. Also a bit cheaper without sacrificing quality. -

If the Blade isn't very good, why does Linus use one daily? That's why I recommended it, that and I have a few friends that use them daily as well, and never had any issues with them. Also, why would OP even CONSIDER the new EVGA laptop? He clearly stated he had a budget of $1500...

Linus, as well as a few friends of mine own and use a Razer Blade as their daily driver laptop. I would say go with that. Could get a Razer Core if you really wanted to spend the extra $$ on it.

Isopropyl alcohol (need fast replies)
Its_Twitchyy replied to Falling1's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
I would think that it would have to be clear. The whole reason that Isopropyl Alcohol is used is because it evaporates. The blue stuff may leave stains. -
