  1. like where this is going definitely want to see the finished product!
  2. hey guys, im looking for a very low profile right angled micro usb cord, does anyone know of any? cheers for any replies!
  3. building a portal gaming pc in a hard case suitcase, where it opens would be the screen, all the components underneath and water cooled, all you would need is one cable connected to mains power..
  4. know of any links or anything? hard to find stuff in lil old new zealand
  5. i can either tap into cigarette light and splice in 2 more wires for the accesspoint and one for the hard drive. they run on a 10amp fuse. easy enough to put a on/off switch in so it doesnt drain battery
  6. not sure if mentioned yet but, dont include peripherals in the price! for me, my keyboard mouse and monitor cost about 500 dollars! made the price seem so much less to my mum
  7. Hey guys long time since I've posted on here so here goes! I'm wanting to have a hard drive filled with music/movies and all sorts, but I need to be able to access it from my tablet. whats going to be the easiest and cheapest solution for this? what I've thought about so far. seagate has a wireless plus hard drive series ranging from 0.5tb to 2tb, sounds easy enough - 200-250 dollars. getting a hard drive connected to a router or access point then streaming to the tablet no idea of the cost so far ... or see if there are any blue tooth options.. what do you guys think? oh and there's one catch, it has to run off 12 volts as its going in my car, and I'll probably have to change the hard drive out for a solid state! get creative!
  8. i would say yes, similar to what my 290 got
  9. try overclocking it mildly and see if that helps increase it a lil?
  10. d14 is on par / sometimes better then aio water coolers, beating single rads and equalling duals
  11. for 3 monitors at all 1080p for gaming, i would suggest 2*280x.. i suggest 280x because they have a wider bus and a bit more Vram, allowing them to use more Vram in total over the 3 monitors, you will also need to make sure that your gpus can output near 144hz otherwise a 144hz monitor isnt going to be worth it. also remember most games dont support crossfire/sli
  12. edit - maybe new 2 new gpus -
  13. watching his rj45 video now and he says cat5e for 10gigbit at 55m and 1gigabit at 100m while cat6 is a full 10gigabit for 100m hmm
  14. im not sure i think ive seen the video but i cant remember
  15. both have a maximum length of 100m or 328ft, after this it starts to degrade, cat6 is less acceptable to crosstalk and supports 10gigabit connection over shorter distances while cat5e only supports gigabit connection, so if both cables were run at max capacity i would say that cat6 would be better over a longer distance as it has a leeway as such with the max speed - I think
