  1. Hello,

I have recently been getting into emulation with retroarch and is it going great however I have had an issue with Wii emulation specifically Super Mario Galaxy where everytime I collect a star bit the game slows down alot but otherwise runs fine. I found this site which seems to have explain something similar but I can't seem to find the correct settings: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php/Super_Mario_Galaxy

I have an I7 10700, RTX 3070 and using an XBOX One controller. So the specs should not be a problem.

Do we have any emulation wizards that may be able to help?

  2. Hello, I have a R9 390x and a Ryzen 1600. I'm looking to upgrade GPU first and the CPU at a later time.

What graphics card would be a good upgrade and one that would not bottleneck too much with my current CPU?

I'm gaming at 1080p 144Hz, and open to both Nvidia and AMD GPU's.

  3. Hello,

I have a weird problem with one of my laptops, when the laptop booting while connected to the dock it says plugged in not charging.

Then i have to take it out the dock and back in or sometimes restart the laptop to get it charging again in the dock.

I have tried updating and resetting the bios, but it still happens.

This happens everytime the laptop is connected to the dock, but only when booting while in dock.

    Any ideas?

  4. I am using the free version of Bitdefender and SUPERAntiSpyware, I like the simplicity of Bitdefender and the low impact on performance it has, as for SUPERAntiSpyware I use it because its rated as one of the best.

I have also tried MalwareBytes, but I find that SUPERAntiSpyware scans my PC more thoroughly.

Would love to hear what you use and why, also if you have any recommendations.

  5. I personally would recoemnd a R9 390 Crossfire for 4K the cards will do much better especially with 8GB of ram and gives you a bit more raw horsepower aswell

Yeah but the thing is many games dont scale that well in sli or crossfire.
  6. The 390x is clocked 50Mhz higher on core and 250mhz higher on vram. But I didn't expect the difference to be that big as well.

Yeah its crazy i know the 390x has 8gb of vram and its using 6 almost 7 of my vram in game, but it should not result in such a big performance increase.
