  2. Well i am going to use in the bus for 45 minutes to watch league of legends worlds until i get home. I dont need the highest quality though.
  3. How much data does the twitch app use while streaming in an hour? I currently have a 4gb data plan. and which quality setting would be best for this plan.
  4. OK thanks guys What would be a good stable OC on core clock and memory for my MSI r9 390x?
  5. ignore this post my question is the post under ^^
  6. Should i OC my vram on my r9 390x? Will i see some performance improvement in doing that?
  7. Im curious how a OC 980 performs against a OC 390x. I cant find many benchmarks on this.
  8. You could try to completely clean the driver using ddu (display driver uninstaller) : http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html Then install the newest driver from amd. That should fix most problems i have a MSI r9 390x myself
  9. For me 60Hz is completely fine, doubt my 390x will get much more fps at that resolution anyways.
  10. Looks like a good monitor searching a little and also for a good price ^^
  11. Looking for a 1440p monitor for my r9 390x with good quality for 300-400 dollars or a little more if needed.
  12. Nvidia - GTX 970 AMD - R9 390 AMD wins again... SURPRISE! This one is much closer though. The R9 390 beats the GTX 970 by just a few FPS in every game except The WItcher 3, and this gap stays roughly the same when overclocking. The R9 380 has over double the VRAM, at 8GB VS the GTX 970's 3.5GB effective memory (it has 4GB, of which only 3.5GB is fast enough to be useful). This means that the R9 390 is a MUCH better choice if you are using high detail texture packs at 1440p/4K. you have a typo here: The R9 380 has over double the VRAM
  13. Does increasing the memory give more fps? Or should i stick with the core.
  14. What would be a good stable overclock i could try? I want to push my r9 390x to its limit where it is still stable.

If there is alot of dust inside the laptop try to clean it.
  16. I would say it depends on the monitor he got aswell to take advantage of all the extra frames.
  17. Most likely the PSU or overheating.
  18. you are saying that you can run r9 390 Crossfire on 550W PSU?
  19. Have you tested the new driver and do you see any improvements?
  20. yes really its cheaper and faster. It uses more power but there is always a disadvantage.
  21. R9 390 is the new king in that pricerange:
