  1. We need one person to join us in the leviathan raid on normal, just trying to complete it rn. Message me your battletag if you'd like to join. Thanks!
  2. Ryzen really likes fast memory, so a 3000MHz kit might be a bit better. I'd also say if you can afford it, get a 1080Ti as it'll give a significantly better 4k gaming experience with higher detail settings. 16GB would also be solid because games do eat up a lot of memory nowadays
  3. Yeah now that I actually think about, maybe it was because my PC got launched from the back seat of a car after a sudden stop. That might have something to do with it.
  4. I probably should've mentioned that the card lighting was fine when I first got it, maybe a few months ago it just happened.
  5. I've updated the software, reinstalled the software, even reinstalled windows, and nothing
  6. For a while now the lighting on the front and back of my Strix 1070 has been oddly mismatched Whenever I select purple using the aura sync software the front has the right colour, but the back turns dark pink, when I select blue, the back turns mint green. I haven't been able to find any other people with a similar issue so I was wondering if anyone else has an explanation for this. I included some pictures of the problem. Thanks!
  7. I got a 2x8gb kit at 2133 speed for 80 bucks CAD last summer and now the same kit is 180 bucks. Super expensive now.
  8. I'd say go with a Ryzen 1600, 3000mhz memory (because Ryzen loves fast memory), and a B350 board to stay within budget, newer games are starting to really like cpus with more than 4 cores. There were quite a few problems at launch for Ryzen, but most of it has been fixed by now, as long as you check the compatibility list of memory on the motherboard manufacturers website then it shouldn't be an issue.
  9. Thank you all for the replies! Sorry I couldn't respond sooner, I was at work. Looks like the most popular ones suggested are the H100I V2 and the Kraken X52, however the H100I V2 is a whole 50 bucks cheaper right now so I think I'll end up going with that one. Thanks again for all the replies!
  10. I'm looking for an AIO thats either 240 or 280mm that'll fit in the Meshify C's top mount with the Asus Z270F Strix, my GPU is too long to fit one in the front. Doing this mainly for looks as right now I have an NH-D15, so something thats as good or better than that in terms of cooling would be solid, noise doesn't bother me a whole lot but obviously I don't want it to be insanely loud. My budget is around 170 CAD btw. Thanks!
  11. I'm really liking that Asus Strix Z370-E board, not overly expensive at around 240 CAD but has a lot of nice features. Or the Asus Prime Z370-A if you need a cheaper one.
  12. I probably wont be touching the volume knob at all anyway, just adjusting my volume in games or in windows. Im just not sure if it'll be worth the extra 25 bucks over the Edifiers. Thanks for the feedback though!
  13. Having trouble deciding between these 2 speaker systems. I prefer the look of the Z333 and the included sub is nice, but the Edifiers are 25 bucks less. I play most games with my headphones, but I like to play single player games with speakers instead. Any help or other speaker recommendations for around the same price would be appreciated. Thanks!
  14. My 1070 runs games at a pretty high framerate, perfect for my 1080p 144hz display. Not sure what you're on about my dude. OW gets upwards of 170 fps, PUBG and Mirage get 100-140ish fps. Of course if you're talking about games like ROTTR and Witcher 3, then yeah it's not perfect but the framerate is high enough for a more than pleasant experience around 80-110fps.
  15. I don't exactly have the space for a 5.1 surround setup, nor do I need a 5.1 setup. Wasn't able to find that in my province for less than 300 bucks either. Thanks for the reply though!
