  1. Hey everyone, hope you're staying healthy! I have my PC hooked up to my theater set up with 5.1 surround. HDMI to TV, motherboard optical output into the receiver. Optical automatically handles the surround usually. The receiver reads 2.1 PCM until i play a movie or game and it switches to either 5.1 PCM or one of the Dolby Codec's, usually in movies, and it works flawlessly. But when I launch Modern Warfare, it stays at 2.1 PCM. I looked through all of the audio options both in-game and in the Battle.net launcher, couldn't find anything (unless i missed it). Any suggestions? I know the game supports it somehow. The game was even made with Atmos support. Thanks!
  2. asus p5ql-vm do I already decided to go with the q8400. It was only $12 so if a different one is absolutely worth it, I will get a different cpu and save the 8400 for a different project. What's your suggestion?
  3. that's $40-$50 extra for a small performance gain. Ghz isn't everything dude.
  4. based on your profile description, i'll take your word for it. Thanks!
  5. Hi everyone. I am looking to get an asus p5ql motherboard. On the asus website, there is no option to download windows 10 drivers for it, but there is the option for drivers for windows 8.1 and down. Would I run into problems if I tried to run windows 10 on this motherboard? Any help I appreciated.
  6. Hello all. I'm currently building an lga 775 system. Which processor should I go with? I found a qx6700 for $26 and a q8400 for $11. Which one should I go for, or is there another option that's even better? thanks
  7. I held cmd+option+r as I booted up and it just went to normal recovery mode. I think this one might be too old and may not have internet recovery mode, but I could be wrong.
  8. I believe so. Does that affect something?
  9. yes, that works fine, but i am unable to reinstall os x. I agree to terms and conditions, sign into icloud, and then it gives me the error "this item is temporarily unavailable"
  10. Hi everyone. I have here an older macbook pro 13 inch. I can not access the normal operating system because something has been corrupted. Is there a way to create bootable OSX installation media without having access to a functioning Mac? I should also mention it is too old to install MacOS Sierra on it. I have looked tirelessly and any help would be greatly appreciated!
  11. Hey guys. My friend brought his custom built PC in today. it has a q6700 cpu and gtx 760 gpu. for some reason battlefield 1 studders so much that it renders the game unplayable. even at 1366x768 on low settings, it keeps freezing for a second then catching up. he's on windows 7 64bit any suggestions?
  12. the blade stealth would be the most amazing thing ever! thanks for doing the giveaway and congrats on 3,000,000 subs!
  13. i forced it to use the ssd, i disabled windows boot manager also
  14. tried that and i get the exact same result as im already haiving
  15. Hey guys, very serious issue for me here. my storage config is a 120gb SSD for os/apps and 1tb hard drive for mass storage. recently, I put a 50gb partition on the 1tb hard drive and installed windows 7 on that and was using that for some comparisons while fixing an old computer. powered down, booted back into windows 7 installation USB, deleted that windows 7 partition, now when I try to boot back into windows 10 where all my main stuff is I get this blue screen, I wouldn't consider a BSOD though. When I click "continue to windows 10" the computer restarts and puts out a glitchy black screen as shown below, then boots right back to the blue screen with the three options. It is stuck in this loop and i don't know how to get it out. I need help figuring this one out. any help is hugely appreciated, thanks
