id prefer msi afterburner over precisionx. also dont use msi kombustor, thats crap. its only good to check if your boost is loading etc because the overlays from msi afterburner/precisionx will show in windowed mode too.

    here are some good benchmarks:

    Heaven Benchmark
    FFXI Heavensward Benchmark
    Valley Benchmark
    3D Mark Firestrike

if you can pass these like 2-3 times each, youre good

    1) no theres no harm if youre not overvolting, the crashes are normal and nothing to worry about.
    2) because youll need more voltage, if your card crashes and you still have some space for temperature, go for it.
    3) increasing voltage

you can absolutely up the voltage to max in precision x, theres no harm in upping voltage using utilities, your voltage is capped in the cards bios. it can be dangerous if youre using a custom bios and dont know what youre doing, but the software stuff is totally safe, set it to max and see what you can get. once you found something stable you can lower the voltage again until it crashes.

    Borderless has input lag.

Disable aero for csgo.exe. go to properties > compatibility > check "disable desktop composition".

Aero forces triple buffered vsync in WDM in borderless window mode which can act wonky especially on multi monitor setups. Probably what you're seeing now is even though your monitor is at 144hz and the game is reporting 300+ fps, the game window is being capped at a stuttery 60fps.

For games like csgo fullscreen is always preferred over borderless window since the extra hop in WDM always adds a bit of input latency.

Fullscreen will be smoother and perform better. Not to mention the few problems you will have with windowed mode.

pls pls pls don't play a game in windowed mode unless its a strategy game pls pls pls

J4NdRo got a reaction from Vitalius in Is Kingston feeding me bullshit or are their ssds not actually less than advertised?
I'm going to link pictures of my emails with Kingston about this but I'm going to just go over some things before you read it. So I was looking through my twitter feed and I saw Newegg advertising the Kingston v300 and I was annoyed. I personally have that SSD and on CrystalDisk I get lower than half the advertised speed on that SSD. Then, even with me using vulgar language Kingston responded to me on twitter saying that they'll redirect me to an SSD specialist. So I did and he said something about compressing or something (I'm not really good with data terms) and that's why I'm asking you guys to tell me what did that specialist is actually saying. Is he speaking of the truth and that their speeds can't be truly read by CrystalDisk or is he just spewing random bullshit so I wont complain about their SSD ever again?
