Oh I love them. Okay a short sum up. The elex are some very dynamic headphones, no doubt about that, probably one of the most dynamic ones under 1000 Euro or USD, the bass can hit really well for a open and extends very nicely and have a nice texture to it, the mids are a bit forward but quite detailed and honestly great with like a guitar, but it they can come off as a bit aggressive, there is a short dip in the upper mids, but I don't think that really anyone will notice that unless they sit down and really listen for it. The highs can at times be a bit metallic, but other than that they a pretty good, decent timbre though as I said before a bit metallic at times and detail is definitely also there, but not like HD 800 level. I find them very comfortable, but they are on the heavy side of things so comfort might be an issue for some. I personally think that they are better than the Focal Clear purely because the mids are a tad better while the rest is about the same.
I found that they pair really nicely with the massdrop CTH which I also have up for sale for about 205€. The CTH just takes the edge off of the a bit metallic highs at times.
I'm looking at 580€+shipping for the Elex, they come with a periapt cable instead of the stock ones, but that's honestly a huge upgrade because the stock cables suck so much, they are really stiff.
Well I need some money to pay for some things, so I gotta sell gear, even though I quite love it.
