  1. That was pretty obviously sarcasm on AluminumTech's part
  2. Where are you getting the price for that ssd? You can get that ssd for 70 dollars less than what you're listing it as. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OBRE5UE/?tag=pcpapi-20
  3. The rest of your family? Is all of your family sleeping in one room? Or do you have an access point in everyone's bedroom?
  4. I think you've missed something rather important. Just because someone might hold the belief that they do not contain an "immortal essence" doesn't mean that they don't value philosophy or spirituality. That person might be a person that is very serious about morality and helping others but doesn't necessarily need to believe that they're special in order to do so. People of no belief don't have that issue. They don't think they're utterly worthless because the things they do matter now. Life is so fleeting and beautiful in the time that it's here that it's worth experiencing. This is the only life that people have so why not enjoy it and live it to the fullest. I actually think that people who think they're immortal have the problem you're talking about! Everything they do now would have zero impact to events that will occur 5 billion years in the future. Everything they do now will have no meaning so why do they do anything now? If you're a Christian or believe in getting a gift in the afterlife then you should want to die as soon as possible because you'll be able to live a life of bliss while the actions you performed in your previous life would just wash away like markings on the beach. Why do they even try to make a difference in the world? Sure they might believe if they don't be good then they'll be punished but that doesn't mean they'll make any more of an impact on the world while they're here. Nor does that mean that they shouldn't want to die early from an accident or something. In my opinion
  5. Okay, here's the problem. I have a bunch of partitions on the ssd and apparently my laptop can't find the right drive to boot off of. Does anyone know where I can find the boot folder to boot off of? Or what I need to do to boot off the ssd besides doing a completely clean install? And if I do a clean install, do I need to pay for it or would the motherboard on the laptop allow the new OS to be free? The ssd drives are F: - K:
  6. The drives F: to K: are the drives on the SSD I'm trying to install. Which one is the boot? Which file in that drive is the folder that I boot from?
  7. So the problem is that I cloned my previous hard drive to my ssd and I need to choose a specific boot file from my hard drive. I don't know the location of the boot media though. Where would the boot media be located so I can boot from my ssd? Like, I can go through the files in my ssd. It has files like "program files" "program files(x86)" etc.
  8. Can I put a higher wattage battery? I would like to try to get extra hours of use.
  9. I'm trying to find out about getting a new battery for an inspiron 3542. The type is a XCMRD 14.8 volts. On the dell website, the battery costs over a 100 dollars but I found this site that sells it for 40 dollars but it doesn't mention compatibility for my specific computer. Is there a catch? Will it work? http://www.uspartsdirect.com/original-dell-inspiron-17-5748-laptop-battery-xcmrd-40-wh-li-ion-14-8-v-4cells-p-191920.html?gclid=Cj0KEQiAsNyxBRDBuKrMhsbt3vwBEiQAdRgPslPuNC24pAcaFQYkgoXs8anU6WVhIOeb_yDT129_YVsaAjQU8P8HAQ
  10. Does not matter. At the same price point, the Fury X would be faster than the 980ti. Doesn't matter if one is water cooled or air cooled. Same price point, better performance out of the box.
  11. What on earth is a i7-5950k? Is that a thing? Is there a broadwell chip that released that no one knows about? Because there are quite a few of those but it's still really confusing me. What did you actually mean?
