Hi I'm planning to buy a 4k ultrawide 34" monitor but I don't know which one. I have GTX 1080 I was thinking about the LG 34UC99 but it doesn't have G-sync. But if the monitor is much better than other ones, I don't mind. These are the ones I know but other suggestions are welcome. I don't know which is the best. The monitor is not for gaming. I am going to game on it but it's mostly for productivity (programming). You're using Windows defender so I think you're not the person to say it's not good enough... I'm using a paid antivirus because I live with other people who know nothing about tech and don't have common sense about computers.

On my pc it only deletes cracking/cheating tools and programs I compiled (because I didn't sign it or whatever) but I know Kaspersky and Bitdefender are better but they are really expensive and I hate their UI. It never deleted CPU-Z in my usage. You can't expect everyone to not click on ads or strange emails or whatever.

Hi I had to remove the heatsink from my HP Spectre x360 because the HP repair idiots didn't tighten the screws enough... and I don't know how to apply the thermal paste correctly. I used the 'carey holzman' method but It's not that easy because the dies are really small... Also when I had to screw the heatsink back in place it moved a lot because it's all really small and light. Should I reapply it? Or doesn't it matter all that much? My feeling goes to option 2. Thanks in advance.

True. Intel has been lazy... I have a old first gen i7 (with the 3 numbers I forgot the name) laptop and a friend has exactly the same laptop with a second gen i7. The difference is massive especially the power usage.
