  1. Optical drives are for people who have real music collections and not children who download pop music from itunes. They are useful, please refrain from pretending you're somehow more elite for not using one.
  2. Not at all hard, a beginner can do it.
  3. The issue is if you whack up the dpi then on a 1080p panel at 24" 2cm of mouse movement is the full width..... Unless you turn the pointer speed down to hich you've just undone it so the claims of running at 5600dpi are mute. I use mid speed and run 1600dpi most of the time, I an go down to 800 for sniping and 3200 when the off need comes up.
  4. I've got the sig computer, an old dell, a samsung i3 laptop for worky/studenty stuff and a netbook. I do have the bits to make another which wouldn't be that bad so technically four. I know I'll get abuse for the netbook.
  5. Any hi-fi combination will let you have some method of connecting a computer to it's Aux channel. This could be a optical in, a 3.5 jack in or bog standard old red and white AV's. Whichever one it is will tell you which cable you need. I used to do this back in the old Playstation 2 days with 80w speakers. Sounded awesome, especially Ghosthunter.
  6. Don't be childish. Btw, yes, I would not buy it on steam. I didn't buy IV....
  7. Right, again, they're not doing it for any reason some PC fanboy thinks. This isn't like Konami getting paid for MGS PS3 excusivity, it's about a private captiocalist comapny making as much money from their product as possible. Console gamers aren't always going to have PC hardware up to playing games but PC gamers will have consoles. Spending extra money to give players the choice of which version they pay the same amount for isn't cost effective.
  8. Right, I never said they wouln't because of piracy so you claiming that anyone did is flawed. What I did say is that they didn't (or more likely haven't yet) because it's more financially viable not to at the minute. There is no conspiracy or hate from Rockstar about the PC they've just tryng to sell a game for as much return as possible. The point is the vast majority of PC gamers have a console no matter how elite they like to pretend to be so if they want the game then they can buy it on their console of choice. By having a console and pc version then you're investing more money to give people a choice of which to buy it for and getting the same if not less money for the pc version. It does not make any sense. I no a lot of you like to say you're PC only but given you all want to play a console only game isn't it about time you all pulled the panties out and just be happy a great new game is out that brings the industry to the masses?! Nah, too mainstream and not elite enough.
  9. You heard wrong but you can find the install disc around, softpedia have it for download.
  10. See, this is becoming a circular argument. Rockstar are a capitalist company, if they can make more money doing something they will - they just get a better return for investing money in dev a different way. The problem with PC gaming is that you're justa steam weekend sale away from devaluing a game completely.
  11. It would be news if two rival companies paid for exclusivity and neither got it..... Or there's just more money to be made per development dollar - or pound - to make it just for consoles and chip away at making a pc version later.
  12. Yeah, there's a lot of that going on on this forum, I've got a warning point for pulling someone up on it so be careful.
  13. See also the sheer amount of forum users that confess to piracy on the pc crimes thread..... That's just a wee microcosm of the problem.
