What I'm using: Main Monitor: 24" / 1080p / 165hz / Display port Second Monitor: 24" / 1080p / 60hz / HDMI GPU: Some HP 3070 that came in pre built. (From L-R [HDMI , DP, DP, DP] connections) ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Third monitor (Problem child): 24" / 1080p / 144hz / DVI-D monitor. The cable: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014RWWURC?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details Before I got my hands on the 3070 I had an Asus 1070 Strix that had native DVI-D connections on it. The "problem child" used to be my main monitor for gaming for years and I when i decided to upgrade to a more modern format of monitor it worked perfectly fine. So, I understand the cable might be the issue here - but when I plug the monitor into my GPU windows diplay / nvidia display setting both display it as having a connection, however the monitor never receives any signal. Sometimes it straight up lags my mouse out for like 5 seconds when all three monitors are connected. ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** What I've done: Updated Windows (currently on Windows 10) Updated my drivers Tried different variations of the monitors plugged in, solo, and as a group The problem child by itself didn't even display anything at all. Cried (Only briefly) Restarted with the monitors plugged in and tried to change display settings through both nvidia and windows settings ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Thanks for reading and if you have any advice or if this has happened to you please reply, any help or info is appreciated!

Should I use NVENC or x264? (SLOBS)

Streaming and Playing simultaneously. I have another PC with an fx6300 in it however that I was thinking about turning into a stream slave. -
Should I use NVENC or x264? (SLOBS)
Dynamonix replied to Dynamonix's topic in Programs, Apps and Websites
Well, when I was doing research on the best settings for my stream multiple content creators on the top just gave a vague "If your CPU is better than your GPU, use x264, vice versa use NVENC. And I guess I just didnt really know so much about how my hardware stood with each other. I was under the impression my CPU/GPU had pretty good performance parity. -
I have a Ryzen 5 3600, ASUS Strix 1070 8GB, and 16gb of RAM (idk if this is important or not but hey, here it is). Was wondering which encoder would benefit me more and be the best in terms of thermals and performance. Thanks in advance!

Read through it all and turned on the options for rgb fusion and still no lighting from fans.
-
Just tried that, updated everthing, tried plugging in the fans by daisy chaining the fans together and individually with their corresponding led headers and still nothing. I find it hard to believe I received to faulty fans. Would you think my headers are fried on the motherboard itself? I also dont have an RGB controller and ive seen nothing saying these fans need one but could that cause issues?
-
Thanks for the reply! Software for RGB Fusion or Software for the fans?
-
So to start; -MOBO: B450 Aorus M. --Its has two VD G - D_LED1/2 headers that from what I've read on my manual are set to 5v by default. ---From what i've read RGB Fusion 2.0 might have something to do with this? -Fans: (2) Bitspower Touchaqua Notos RGB 120mm -- [ https://www.microcenter.com/product/616730/bitspower-touchaqua-notos-rgb-120mm-case-fan ] The two fan plugs fit on the MOBOs headers but no lighting happens when the PC is powered on. Do I have the wrong fans? Am I installing something wrong? Do i need a header/controller for the fans to turn on? At this point im just completely lost and I just want a simple fan setup with one to be orange and one to be purple. Thanks for any help in advance.

Upon inspecting the brick from the wall theres a green LED lit up. Is this any indication that its dead or healthy?
-
Do you know if theyre easy to fix? I have dead playstation tv that I could try and pull the psu from ( the display died, it still lights up all indicators though)
-
Is there any way to change it or am just f***ed

Hello, I bought a qnix 2414 back in may and It has worked ever since. However upon returning home for winter break I noticed my monitor no longer works. -There is no light at all. •It does not blink, turn blue, stay red, nothing. -I have tried plugging into every outlet I can, and its the same result. I plug it in, red for one to two seconds, nothing. •Ive tried this while the pc is off, on, and Ive even tried different DVI cables and all the ports on my 960, and mobo.
