  1. It's not the original cable, I think the manufacturer is called valueline. Cable cost ~20 bucks but it's from a store that overprices everything so I'll definitely order a new one now. Thanks for the idea!
  2. Thanks for the reply! I'd like to update the bios as a last ditch effort, scared I'll screw something up. BIOS version is 0604 in dxdiag and 0604, 12/7/2018 in system information, neither of which match up with my manufacturers BIOS versions. No RGB strips, driver's are up to date (461.92). I can't change from DP to HDMI because either my monitor or GPU doesn't support 120/144hz via HDMI. I'll reinstall the drivers with DDU in a bit, it's hard to tell if anything fixes it due to the randomness of the issue.
  3. My main monitor has been getting disconnected randomly a few times a day for the last couple of months. It happens when playing games but also when watching Netflix or even when having nothing besides Discord open, leaving for a few minutes and coming back to a black screen. Sometimes plugging it back into the same display port fixes it, sometimes using a different display port fixes it. I've reinstalled my drivers multiple times trying to fix it. More recently when replugging the monitor it will turn back on at an extremely low resolution. Lately it also causes a bsod relating to nvlddmkm.sys, though this happens far less often. CPU, Mobo and RAM were bought new in 2018, the GPU used in 2018 and the PSU is from 2016. I've had my RAM set to 3200mhz since 2018 with no issues. Main monitor is at 144hz and second screen is at 60hz. Specs: Ryzen 5 2600 Gigabyte B450M-DSH3 16GB of RAM running at 3200mhz (CMK16GX4M2D3000C16) Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Corsair CX600M Monitors: AOC G2590FX (Bought 2018/19, monitor that keeps getting disconnected) Phillips 227E7QDSB/71 (Bought ~2015, no issues with this one)
  4. I'll be buying the 1660Ti next month and a PSU either at the same time or the month after. Any suggestions?
  5. I'm in the market for a new GPU and my PSU lacks an 8pin GPU power connector. I do have a 6+2 pin but people say it's bad to use. Here's my current setup: Ryzen 5 2600 Zotac GTX 1660Ti AMP 16GB DDR4 1x 5.4k HDD, 1x 7.2k HDD, 1x SSD My current PSU is the Corsair CX600M, should I be worried about using the 6+2 pin, do I even need to upgrade? PSU itself was bought around 2015 or 2016.
  6. I've recently been tinkering with my PC, I overclocked my GPU and ran superposition for ~15 minutes, the max temp was 72C on the GPU and 60C on the CPU. After 15 minutes one monitor (Display Port) went black and said "No Signal", the other monitor (HDMI) was fine. I restarted the PC, got rid of the overclock (both CPU and GPU) and it was working fine for a few hours at which point the same thing happened, display port monitor black, hdmi is still fine (note this happened while browing reddit and watching a youtube video). Specs: Ryzen 5 2600 (was overclocked to 4Ghz @1.375V MSI GTX 1060 6GB OCV1 - Overclocked using this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9wsDqsObcg Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8) @3200Mhz, upped it from 3000 yesterday, PC has been fine and stable. Asus Prime B450M-K Corsair CX600M Also note that the PC is running fine currently, although the main monitor is still not working, typing this on the HDMI one. Edit: Set the ram back to 3000Mhz, monitor still wasn't working, turned it off and let it sit for a minute, updated GPU drivers and it's working fine now. Could still use an answer for this though because I feel like it will happen again.
  7. I made a thread about this earlier but because the previous store has atrocious delivery times I'm redoing my order. My budget for the RAM would be ~140USD/130 EUR. I'm currently looking at this, would it be a good fit? Do I HAVE to stick to the QVL? https://www.gskill.com/en/product/f4-3000c16d-16gisb (128 USD)
  8. I bought it in 2x4s because I didn't have enough money for a 2x8, plan was to buy 1 2x4 now and another one next month. 24h after ordering stuff changed and I could afford another 2x4. The RAM is 3000Mhz.
  9. I ordered a R5 2600, Gigabyte B450M DSH3 and 2 sets of 2x4GB Kingston RAM (p/n HX430C15PB3K2/8). Will this hinder my perfomance? I can try and bd contact the website on Monday to try and get a 2x8GB set. Now onto overclocking. I'm pairing the CPU with a Cryorig M9 Plus, can I push the CPU to about 4Ghz without worrying about temps? Also my PSU is a CX600, I have a GTX 960, can I power everything in the system?
  10. I feel a lot better buying from my own country, any warranty issues can be solved way faster and way more easily.
  11. Estonia, the site searches every online store in our country and compare the prices.
  12. Yes but I am at a 350 euro budget, currently the CPU, RAM, Mobo and cooler all add up to 354 Can't find that in my country, using this site: www.hinnavaatlus.ee
  13. Maximum price should be 70-80 euros for 8GB, I've also currently opted for a 2x4GB kit. I checked the QVL for the mobo and the ram is compatible. The spec sheet shows that Ryzen supports up to 2933MHz, wont 3000/3200 just clock down automatically?
