  1. Seems like most on ebay are around $400 with same specs and conditions around the same or a little worse..
  2. I'm going to sell my Lenovo Y40 that I bought a couple years ago because I don't really have a use for it anymore. I would like to sell it for something around $450 but I'm not sure if that's a realistic price. It's in great condition with no noticeable scratches or damage and it still works just fine. Here's a spec list. Lenovo Laptop - Type: Lenovo Y Series Gaming - Brand: Lenovo - Processor: Intel Core i7 4510U - Model: Lenovo Y40 - Processor Speed: Turbo up to 3.1GHz - Screen: Matte 14” TN Panel (for games) LED HD 1080p Anti-glare - Graphics: AMD R9 M275 2gb DDR3 Video Memory - RAM: 8gb 1600MHz - Wireless Card: Intel Dual band wireless AC3160 with Bluetooth 4.0 - Hard Drive Capacity: 1 Terabyte HDD - Operating System: Windows 10 - Weight: 4.85lb - Thickness: 0.9” - Ports: AC charging port, gigabyte Ethernet port, HDMI-out, 2 USB 3.0, Kensington lock, 1 USB 2.0, SPDIF Port, Headset Port, SD card reader - Speakers: by JBL
  3. I would like to sell my laptop, and I did a factory reset on it to clear all of my data from it. First of all, should I do anything else to make sure the next user doesn't have any access to my data? Also, I upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 10 when using the laptop, and I don't think I ever wiped Windows 8 from the Hard drive. Will it have Windows 8 or Windows 10 when it's used next? I don't really want to go through the setup process and have to reset it again, but I would like to tell people the correct information. It's a Lenovo Y40 with a 1 terabyte Hard drive and a core i7. Thanks!
  4. My current peripheral setup is pretty good I would say. I have a Razer deathAdder 2014, a CM Storm Quickfire with cherry mx blues, a glorious gaming PC race extended mousepad, and some hyperX clouds. I've been perfecting it for awhile. However, I think the pheonix headphones would be a great addition and I think the rest of the peripherals would make a great surprise present for my older brother that has had issues with his laptop in college for awhile.
  5. KeePass is software that I was introduced to just a few days ago when I was learning more about cyber security and I already love it. It allows you to store all passwords encrypted locally and forces you to enter a master password to get into the software. It lets you avoid keeping all of your passwords on a doc (which you should NEVER do) or on a piece of paper (probably shouldn't do that either). All you have to do is download the software from the link I provided or just look up KeePass. It also allows you to store your username. Whenever you need the password or username there is an option to copy it so you can paste it into the login without even viewing the password. http://keepass.info/download.html
  6. I made a little review of my experience on a roller coaster in Atlanta that has implemented Gear VR headsets. My experience was a bit rough (my headset fell off on the ride) but I would love to hear other people's experiences! Gear VR Roller Coaster Review:
  7. Does anyone know if a local repair place might have some rubber fan mounts? I checked websites where I am (which isn't like a big city or anything) and most of the places seem to just do repairs or sell prebuilt PCs. I need them for a project that I am doing and I would like to get them sooner than later as I am off of school this week and would like to finish while I'm off school. I have 8 cooler master sickleflow fans with the obnoxious "self-threading screws." I already painstakingly threaded every single fan hole once but it apparently wasn't enough. I attempted to put the fans in the case and I couldn't because of the awkward angle and that the screw head is actually wearing from my screwdriver making it near impossible to screw in now. Any suggestions?
  8. I love the HyperX Clouds that I have. They sound great, they are extremely comfortable, and the mic is reasonable and removable. I would imagine that the Cloud II would be similar and better.
  9. Will it be difficult to move my Windows install from the hdd to the ssd?
  10. I'm trying to build a pc that is good for anything. Gaming with Rocket League, Ark, Battlefield, etc, video rendering (20-30min videos), web browsing, etc. Currently, I'm trying to decide between the $242 Xeon and the $226 i5. I would have a z97 board regardless because the MSI Krait fits my color scheme perfectly. The cooler for the i5 would cost about $35. My budget is fine for either of these two, but nothing higher. My Build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/V6vthM Thanks!
