  1. I currently have 1 wireless access point and one wireless router connected to the LAN ports on the AP. I didn't have to do any port forwarding in order to WOL my PC that is connected to the AP's LAN port with my phone that was connected wirelessly to the router. How are your two routers connected?
  2. WordPress is a great options for the functionalities you listed. It has lots of plugins for e-commerce, social integration and responsive themes. Your website will look good, but you will need some WordPress experience. You can probably hire someone to set up everything for you, and it will certainly cost less than hiring someone to do everything from scratch
  3. *insert funny comment entry here*
  4. You can try using a proxy and fake your IP to be one from the country you came from.
  5. I would torrent them if I were you since MS Office and Visual Studio are the programs in question. You can very easily find cracks online and some torrents even come preactivated. There is always the risk of viruses but just pick the most popular torrent and you are good to go.
  6. You can always torrent your paid programs if they don't require some sort of account authentication since you know that you have already bought them and they are yours to use.
  7. @Skander1345 The fan i installed was an intel stock cooler which had thermal paste applied on it out of the box. I ran the PC for 3 hours and nothing happened. Surely the CPU would have fried if it was running at 100 degrees for 3 hours? I should also note that I installed debian without a desktop gui so I cant install HWMonitor
  8. @Beltboy @Skander1345 It turns out that it was an alarm for my CPU overheating. I went into the bios, then PC health status and it showed that my cpu is running at 80-100 degrees celsius. I let it run for about a minute or two while it was showing those abnormally high temps then I turned off the PC, unplugged the power cable and touched the heatsink on the fan. It was only slightly warm, no where near 100 degrees. So the CPU sensor is fried and I just removed the internal speak.
  9. @Skander1345 I know that those are not software errors. With that I meat that they are most likely not hardware, as many of you suggest that the mobo/cpu is broken. This beeping is inconsistent, as it stops for 2-3 seconds on occasions, sometimes for longer. The motherboard is Abit GD8 - PRO which is know for being very bad with troubleshooting.
  10. @Beltboy Good news! I managed to get to my desktop without it shutting down. I had my PC running for 5-10 minutes just to make sure that it wasn't going to shut down unexpectedly. The bad news is that at first it beeped for 2-3 seconds then stopped, then again, and then again. Then a 10 second pause and then it kept beeping until I shut down my PC. It did not shutdown by itself, but it kept beeping. So, now I think that the problem is more like software-based. I can confirm that everything worked and functioned as expected. The problem might be that the system is reading/missing something wrong and thus making the beeping sound in order to warn me. I plan on running the PC for a straight 2-3 hours doing medium-light workloads. If the system does not shut down on itself but still keeps beeping, I plan to remove the built-in speaker. I know that this is not a good idea, but it's the only option I have.
  11. @Beltboy I also wanted to ask, how long do CMOS batteries last? I've had my PC for more than 7 years.
  12. @Beltboy I just powered on my PC again and this time I got to my desktop and then it shut down. I still got the same beeping as before, but now I didn't get any error message. Also, both the red and green LED on the motherboard started glowing when the beeping started. Before the beeping only the green one glows, then when it starts both the green and red one glow
  13. @Beltboy The thing is, I had been getting these errors long before when this was my only PC and it was 100% working. I kept getting these errors for a year straight and nothing would happen.
