The Simpsons are on spring break atm. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- anyway, not sure what i expected as far as responses. but it seems as though i should just change the title of the thread to "quick insert a quip to add to your post count". Don't get me wrong, i appreciate a great joke or smart comment. and i do appreciate the work you put in to line up that Simpsons connection. But it doesn't really help me at all. Nor do i expect anyone to help out. Luckily i have found a couple things to do. this forum is not the ideal place to ask a question like this. i bet on hound in a horse race essentially. then hoped for the best and got scraps. cheers people. if anyone would like to throw in some actual recommendations feel free. but I'm not holding my breath on this thread.

im stuck in the middle on this one. there are things about vessel that are nice. but i have regularly had issues with it throughout this past year. and the site/player is not very friendly imo. has issues and navigating to new content isnt as fluid as other options out there. and aside from the "early" access they arent really offering me anything i want specifically. would much prefer another way, rather than have to sign up to vessel and then segment my viewing experience among youtube and vessel to see things from LTT/LMG and the very few other channels who are actually on vessel. so chances of renewing are low atm unless vessel decides to do some updates/feature changes ect to really make the platform worth what they're asking. and they would need to really bite into youtubes ass to get some more creators on to it. if not it will float for a little while longer then sink.

if i could build houses for free I'd start building enough to eliminate homelessness. but your recommendation is duly noted and will be filed under "maybe". cheers!

the unstable prices don't help either. i swear within 1 week i saw MSY, CPL and PCCG change their prices on GPUs from ~720 up to 800 up and down every couple of days. what a joke. we barely have reliable suppliers/distributors here. apparently the world has advanced in every aspect of shipping internationally. i.e boat trucks, plane yet Australia is still somehow unreachable by the rest of the world.....so we pay out the ass for everything. and people think we're all rich because he pay rate is higher yet the prices of almost everything is much higher. hell we even get stuff we make here at higher prices than what people pay for that overseas.. its really messed up.

damn i wish you had posted this earlier i only just ordered a 980 from amazonUS (im in AUS,. prices here suck balls) would have definitely jumped on this. also just be careful. while there is no shortage of people who will try to rip you off or scam you, not everyone is. just be aware, and cautious. you have a lot of options depending on whether the buyer is local or needs you to post it. cash always wins paypal is good but be careful. also in paypal you can mock up an invoice of sale. which is good as it helps to have just incase. COD (cash on delivery) if you need to post it and the buyer doesn't have or doesn't use paypal most postal/parcel services offer a COD option. where you send the item before payment but it cannot be released to the buyer until payment is made for item + postage costs money orders, cheques, direct bank deposit and the like are up to you to accept though i would not accept cheques. 3 days until you find out if it goes through or pay to have it expedited. its just not wise. most business' refuse to take them these days, and there is a reason why as mentioned above. don't stress the sale. i see you being hard pressed to hold on to that card for long once you place an add. the 960,970 and 980 have been selling like crazy since release. as for listing it hell i think there is a subforum you can list it on here on LTT, ebay, craigslist, amazon (not sure how amazon works i may be wrong), local paper classifieds ect. tons of options

sweet. and i was not completely sure on it. considering steam has been fighting against people buying games from the RU market at cheaper prices. figured they would have added it generally. on the plus now i know i get a new GPU save around $200 AU and i get 2 games i definitely want which would cost around 160-200 AU so i think this will go great

ok so i wanted to ask a quick question that i believe i have the answer for but am not sure how to google it to confirm. so i will ask here. im buying an EVGA gtx980 from either amazon, newegg or NCIX (to be decided) in the US (i am in AUS) a friend is coming here in a couple weeks for a holiday and will bring it here for me. but it comes with codes for the witcher 3 and batman arkham knight. i am assuming the keys are region specific in steam. I.e will only work on the US region of the steam store (not here in AU). would that be accurate or not? i figure i have already answered my own question. but if im wrong then that is awesome. these are great upcoming games that i definitely wouldn't mind adding to my steam library without having to create another account and use a VPN when i want play. --edit-- posted this then tried more random googling. found that for the witcher 3 it is via GOG. not sure if that applies to batman also but afaik GOG is not region "locked" like steam. corrections welcome. cheers.

updated OP. 5 seconds after hitting post did it finally appear on the corsair website. it was not there i checked over and over. and even when using the "find" option in chrome it wasnt showing up for the last couple of days for me. not sure what the problem was but its there now and i have it downloaded and working.

hopefully this post doesn't just highlight my inability to use the internet, but i've checked corsairs website and can only find a firmware update for the mouse and the "corsair unity engine", which says i do not have a compatible device. though watching all the reviews on it and from posts online, i am looking for the corsair (gaming?) control panel. it is not listed on their site anywhere that i can find. only options are the FW update and CUE. what and where am i supposed to download the correct software to assign the options for the different buttons on the mouse? seems weird that everyone else could find it but i am struggling even with the added assistance of the google machine. --edit-- -.- not 5 seconds after posting this did i find the software.just my luck. now this post does just highlight my inability to use the internets and google machine. god damn it

yeah it is plenty powerful for what i need now and in general so overclocking later in the life of it will give me a slight upgrade without having to upgrade my cpu. unless things change like these processors are somehow obsolete in less than 2 years. though i am kinda bymped. one of my noctua nf-f12 fans (black industrial) was a DOA. powered on and just did nothing.. gotta get it replaced now. other than that all seems well.
