BellySyrup got a reaction from Steve N. Mavronis in Best Mini ITX case for my build?
I'm currently in love with my mitx build in a Phanteks Evolv ITX. It's not the smallest itx case out there, but it supports water cooling, has great air flow and expandability with plenty of room for additional drives. Check my sig for an idea.

Mind if I ask what your budget is? Some cases can get pretty pricey.

So with the configuration I have set up (Front 200mm intake, top 120mm intake, 120mm heatsink pulling air from bottom to top, 120mm back exhaust) I'm seeing some pretty solid temperatures.
    Pentium G3258 @ 4.5GHz @1.175v
    Sapphire Tri-X R9 280X not overclocked
Copy idles at ~38C and peaks at 77C (keep in mind it's kept in my basement with an ambient temperature of 20C), graphics card peaks at 73C. Gets pretty loud chugging along but I can deal with the noise. Overall I'm audited with the temperatures and will probably keep this configuration.

Good I will try just the stock 200mm intake fan and add a rear Phanteks 140mm SP exhaust fan. For I7-4790K thinking of using the Noctua NH-U12S (better than an EVO 212) maybe with a second NF-F12 fan later on at the back to increase CPU cooling some extra if I ever add a slight overclock if it's even needed. The motherboard will either be the ASUS Z97I-Plus (would help match the Noctua) or Maximus VII Impact of I go totally ROG. Not doing liquid cooling don't feel like messing with it. An good air cooler should be enough for me. I'm just playing the waiting game for all the factory overclocked aftermarket cooler 980TI's w/backplate to be released to compare the prices.

I'd go with function over aesthetics. If you need to extra space and expansion, then go with the matx version. Either way, you'll get a solid case.

Here's my itx build I just finished last week.
